Synopsis

When an ordinary man dies, he expects peace in the afterlife. Instead, Kael awakens in the snowy wilderness of Skyrim, a world filled with dragons, danger, and untold possibilities. But he’s not alone—he carries with him the powers of Mistborn and Feruchemy, gifts from another realm that make him far more than ordinary. Burning metals to fuel incredible abilities and storing attributes like strength, speed, and weight, Kael must navigate a land teetering on the edge of chaos.

From the bustling streets of Whiterun to the frozen wastes of Winterhold, Kael searches for purpose in a world where magic and steel shape destinies. As he battles bandits, delves into ancient ruins, and wrestles with the moral weight of his newfound powers, Kael discovers that survival in Skyrim isn’t just about strength—it’s about choice.

Will he become a hero, using his powers to protect the innocent? Or will the harsh realities of Skyrim’s unforgiving landscape push him toward darker paths? One thing is certain: Kael’s journey is just beginning, and his choices will echo across Skyrim’s history.

The idea behind this story is intresting mixing Skyrim with Mistborn powers is a really cool concept. and is somewhat of a fun read. But the way the characters in Skyrim react to the protagonist’s abilities feels off. Skyrim is a world where magic and strange powers are pretty normal, but the reactions here seem like they belong in a low fantasy world where magic barely exists. Instead of the superstition, awe, or curiosity you’d expect from Skyrim’s characters, their responses feel out of place. The suspicion shown doesn’t feel like the typical superstition of the Nords it’s more like the kind of fear and disbelief you’d find in a world like Game of Thrones. It’s as if they barely even know magic or unusual abilities exist, which doesn’t fit the setting of Skyrim at all.

Interesting power set. It has good pacing, and the character isn't a murder hobo, but treats life as life and not a wish come true.
