Rewriting the rules

Irene, a fifteen-year-old girl, is eager to redefine herself as she steps into senior high school. Determined to look and act like the "baddie" she sees in the media, she defies her mother Susan, whose strict upbringing is shaped by painful past experiences. As tensions rise between them, Susan recalls her own turbulent youth and the sacrifices she made for Irene's future.
