pain in our hearts

I got home and waited all night long for my mom to come back home,she closes by 7:00pm and it was already 10:00 and she isn't yet back home.

I called her number severally and she wasn't picking up ,I sent her voice message she didn't reply ,the worst part was that her phone was switched off,I started thinking if anything happened ,I even walked along the road to check if I would see her but to no avail.

I came back home,sat at the parlour waiting for her and before I knew it I woke up the next morning laying on the chair,I said to my self I think it time I contact the police this is quite unusual.

As I was about to step out,my mom came back home ,she looked at me as if she didn't know me and walked straight to her room,I was so confused at this point ,like seriously have it gotten to this point.

I was so angry ,all that was running to my mind were so after I was worried through at last night she came home and totally ignored me like for what reason,do I really deserve this,just because of our little

misunderstanding it fine.

I prepared for school and also left the house,I went straight to Rina's house ,I met her mom once more again

"Good morning ma".

"Oh,good morning Irene,nice meeting you again,sure you here for Rina right?"

"Yes ma"

"Rina your friend is here for you,"

"Okay mummy tell her I will be out soon,"

"Irene,Rina would be out soon ,do you care for anything?"

"Oh ma , nothing I am good thank you."

"Ok I will be leaving you now",

Rina came out of her room and gave Irene a good hug and said ,

"Thank God you came over,you always know when I need you"

"Why are your eyes so swollen Rina,talk to me what happened",

"Can we just leave this house first?"

"Why not"

"Mom am leaving,good bye".

"Oh my baby ,do have a good day ,make sure you spend quality time with your friend and please Irene make sure she doesn't cry , promise me"'

"I promise ma,she would never cry or feel alone",

"Thank you my daughter have a good day and time at school",

They both left the house,Irene held Rina's hand it was kind off cold,and then said

"Rina what going on,I feel am loosing you gradually",

"Oh Irene stop you know you can never loose me ,alot have been going on,my dad ,my dad hit my mom yesterday it was very scary ,they had a very bad misunderstanding again,Irene can you believe my dad has a side chick and she have a daughter and a son"'

Rina tears up ,

"Stop crying Rina ,tears won't stop or solve the issues ,how did your mom find out?"

"She saw a message come in my dad phone and she decided to open it and she saw where she sent him a message and it said baby I really do miss you and your children misses you more,try and come on weekend to have time with us after all you have two family now".

"Oh my God she really saw all that ,it is really horrible,very bad of him ",

"Irene,when she tried talking to him about that he became violent and slapped her ,hit her and told her never to go near his phone that it is his property,my mom is going through alot of pain ,I can feel the pain ,I can see it in her eyes ,even when she cries, when she speaks I need her to leave that marriage ",

"Then tell her to leave Rina,or is it until she dies ,talk to her",

"She really loves my father ,I don't know what to do",

"It ok Rina,don't cry,just tell your mom to sign for a divorce that isn't a marriage ,that mess could take her life",

Irene cleans rina tears consoles her and they started to head to school,Rina then said

"Am so sorry I forgot,how did it go between you and your mom?,am sorry it always looks like it all about me ,it just that it to much for me,did you get to talk to your mom?"

"Oh me?,I tried but she was to tired so I guess when I get back from school we would go again ",

"Okay,ensure you do so",

I lied to Rina because she was going through alot to start bringing up my own story ,let first finish up with her case before i would bring out mine,and besides I feel my case is a minior one.

We both arrived at school it was just like a sad day to both of us ,the school environment is filled with students noise but we couldn't just feel the vibe , we met bella and her friends I don't know the reason she is always after my life.

The three of them obstructed us Mira then said

"Hey weirdos,where are you headed to "?

Ivana smiles and said

"Oh I think I know where this cheap girls are headed,of course they are going seduce Micheal ,Bella's boyfriend ".

Bella added up

"Listen well girls,stay away from my guy,I see the way u look at him,am taking about Irene specially,avoid him".

Rina responded back

"Why are you girls talking to us like this,please we are not in the mood for all this let us go "

Bella pushed Rina and said

"Stay away from this matter girl".

I was so pissed off I had to talk

"Hey Ivana ,Bella and Mira what wrong with your dumb brain,how dare you push my friend,you claim to be the most pretty girl in school so why are you afraid of someone snatching your so called boyfriend from you?"

Bella was so surprised,she was surprised to hear me speak back at her she replied back

"How dare y...

I didn't let her complete the statement ,

"Shut up girl,don't ever lay your hands on my friend again or you would regret yourself and point of correction if I like Micheal I would go for him,now move away from the way ".

I pushed her off my road, held Rina's hand and left .
