Cultivators Heaven

He first thought he would be going to a human's clan to get executed and thought the woman was merely playing with words in front of him to relieve his heart and calm his mind.

But his eyes almost popped out of their sockets when he stepped into the clan town.

The scene he saw was that of tens of giants with a cultivation base of at least the golden core cultivation realm casually setting up stalls and selling various weapons, armor, and all kinds of cultivator resources while each one of those giants was wearing armor of a quality he hadn't even seen in his past life, much less on earth.

Funnily enough, he wasn't executed as it turned out the frost armor humans wore had an array attached to it that automatically generated a mask to hide their features.

It was an armor produced by the blacksmith of the town as a protection mechanism to protect the slaves from giants randomly killing new human slaves out of spite after they saw their ugly faces.

The sword symbol he saw in the center of the token represented his new name, given after the original owner of the armor willingly accepted slavery and received it. Now, it had become Yasuo's name.

"Sword, you have to be cautious when meeting Vethas and interacting with him," Balqis softly spoke," Although you have reached the 4th qi condensation, your strength is meaningless in his eyes. Your sole role is to diligently cultivate martial arts so you can be sent to convey messages to the Frosthorn clan and some other missions."

"There, you should be able to learn much more than I'll ever be able to teach you."

Yasuo nodded his head," I'll make sure to follow your instructions, Sky."

Bam!

Balqis suddenly hugged him tightly out of nowhere, catching Yasuo off-guard," I have countless times told you never to call me by my symbol when we are alone."

She pushed herself back a bit to be face to face with him, placed her arms around his neck, and spoke softly, tears flowing down her cheeks into the ground as her face flushed red," Just remember, no matter what happens, I'll be there for you."

Yasuo rolled his eyes inwardly, 'getting lonely are we? If not for your strength, will you even dare to get close to me?'

Despite his thoughts, Yasuo played along. " There is no need for such words; nothing will happen, Balqis." He leaned forward, kissed her on the lips, and stood up, ready to go and cultivate.

Balqis's face reddened even more after Yasuo's actions, her heart beating faster and faster and her body shaking,' Did...Does this mean that he finally acknowledged my feelings?'

Her head buzzed, and she didn't know what to think for several minutes.

Despite her peak 9th qi condensation realm, her heart was still fragile and not strong enough to take on such an attack!

After that day, Balqis informed Vethas that Sword had better talent than her and that he should practice the most complex martial arts to complete the main missions.

Vethas found no issues with his slave's words and allowed Sword to enter the human part of the library, where martial arts were placed and kept for slaves to learn from.

For Vethas, who thought of humans as mere ants waiting on the side to finish some of the missions giants couldn't, it didn't change anything.

As long as they accomplished their missions efficiently and did not delay anything more than necessary, he would let the human slaves do as they wished.

Yasuo stayed in the Frost Pavilion and did not leave it even for a day.

He began to browse through numerous martial arts of humans, which he got access to read.

The library was insanely big; just one shelf held thousands of books. Not to mention, the library has tens of such bookshelves.

If any organization he could think of from his past world or earth would see just a quarter of this library, their eyes would pop out, and they wouldn't stop at anything to lay their hands on it.

The martial arts stored in the Frost Pavilion were as vast as the sea.

Yasuo raised his head as he looked at a bookshelf containing only seven martial arts called the seven ultimate martial arts.

He then looked beyond the bookshelf and noticed several other martial arts scattered in another one, seemingly of the same importance if not higher than those.

'This is heaven for cultivators!' Yasuo didn't know why the giants casually gave away such martial arts to their human slaves, but he didn't care and kept browsing for a suitable one he could learn.

"Frost Form?"

Yasuo took out an ancient book on the fith floor of the Frost Pavilion.

The frost form was a unique martial art that could remodel the body so that one's body could become frost in a crisis, and one could even reattach severed limbs.

Its value was even above that of the seven ultimate techniques.

However, no human slave has ever managed to master this martial art. Otherwise, the giants would have prized him as their most treasured slave because he could literally accomplish specific missions none of the others could.

The reason was that the threshold was too high. It required an understanding of martial arts and was related to one's affinity for frost elements.

Likes of punished cultivators that are sent to death in this world were no way to have such talent, and even if they did, they wouldn't accept turning into slaves and would rather live in seclusion in a corner of the giant empire till their death or till a day comes where they break this cage and leave this space.

Yasuo picked up the Frost Form book and read it with a serious face.

In the blink of an eye, three more months passed.
