Chapter 9 The humans make a stand

After the explanation of Trinergy Kevin started training to master Trinergy control destruction form.

One hour passed since Kevin had been trying to sustain a destructive ball's form. After more time practice Maki eventually figured out what's the reason behind all of Kevin's failed attempt.

"Kevin the reason why you can't sustain the ball is because you're trying so hard to maintain the shape of the blast, you can't do it so quit trying to make the perfect shape, I mean in destruction it's only about the power not the shape." Maki advised.

Kevin tried again and this time he didn't try to maintain a good shape and he shot it to the sky and when it exploded Maki saw all of Kevin's potential. After multiple passed attempts Maki told Kevin to start training for his own kind of destructive ability in the backyard. Kevin picked up his sword and went to train at the backyard.

While Kevin was busy training Takehiko talked to Maki, "Why did you lie to Kevin by saying that there are only four things that fall under Trinergy meanwhile there are five?"

"What is the reason to include those 'Triquilas' they are of no use to us plus I'm pretty sure that they are almost extinct." Maki replied.

Meanwhile Elaine and the driver got discharged from the hospital. Once Elaine got to her home she immediately went to her room and called Jack.

Jack was busy doing some research about a strange book he found in a library but then he received a phone call and answered it.

"Who am I talking to?" Jack asked.

"Hey Uhm it's me Elaine." She answered.

"Elaine but how did you get my number?" Jack asked.

" I got it on the school's group."

"Why have you called me."

"The reason I'm calling you is to ask you what do the monsters want with Kevin?"

"What! Those monsters are after Kevin I had no idea." Jack answered shocked. This explains the monster's appearance at the school and at the carnivals but why, Jack thought. "How do you know that the monsters are after him?"

"Because the monster intentionally ignored every other person and came after us and also when our car crashed he was the only one who was still conscious and it makes no sense." Elaine explained.

"Well if the monsters are after him then I don't know cause he didn't tell me." Jack said, "I guess I'm not his most trusted friend after all."

"Don't say that maybe he has his reason like he doesn't want you to know because it might put your life in danger, maybe that's what happened to him as well."

"That's it! This all thing started when Kevin started training with that old man maybe he's the reason this all started."

"Maybe you're right, I suggest that we should work together to find out what's going on before anything bad happens to Kevin." Elaine said and Jack agreed.

"You wanna know what's Kevin's secret, then I also have no idea" said Jack. "Huh damn what a lost cause" said Elaine doubtfully. "Wait you're his best friend but he also didn't tell you what is his secret, well I might as just call you his absent best friend, but didn't you even bother to ask you or how do you even know which secret I'm talking about" said Elaine. "Huh you're talking about the fact that how did he survive another monster and also it can't be a coincidence that it went after him, plus it's the only thing that he never wants to talk about and I also went to the place he trains at and his master also didn't tell me the truth" said Jack.

"That reminds me this is surely intriguing, when I was at the library a random book fell down and when I picked it up it was written 'The legend of the four swords master', I was intrigued by its tittle and I tried researching it at the library's computers but there was no information about the book so I took it back home to try and do some research but when I turned to page 15 I saw something that was really shocking, the monster that attacked you in the school was drawn down there and it looked like the one drawn was a bit younger than the one we saw, so I thought I should do more research about it." Jack said.

Two hours passed and Kevin was still training for his new ability, until the unthinkable happened, a huge monster appeared at sector 13 and it began to destroy the place.

Upon seeing this from the news Kevin tried to leave to go face it but then Takehiko and Maki stopped him and they showed him that the Military army is already launching an assault on the Trinity beast and the police officers helped to evacuate the area and so there wasn't any reason for Kevin to go and assist.

At the Head quarters of the military army general Brown sent out war Tanks and an airstrike team. When the whole area was evacuated the soldiers begin their assault.

"Shoot it down!" General Brown declared.

Gunshots filled the district as the soldiers attacked, but it seemed like shooting the Monster had no effect and so they tried throwing bombs at it but that also did nothing.

A new order was placed and the second wave of the attack began, every soldier placed gas masks and binoculars on their faces and then they started throwing flash grenades at the monster to blind it and then they pushed back.

After the soldiers had placed distance between them and the monster the airstrike team shot out gas bombs that covered the whole then a war tank shot out a gas lighter and it reacted with the gas that surrounded the monster and caused it to go KABOOM!

The explosion caused smoke and the soldiers couldn't see what happened with the monster but driven by their delusion they celebrated and thought that they had won but then...

...the monster swinged it's hand and blew away the smoke from the explosion, the soldiers celebration turned into their demise as the monster began to attack the soldiers.

The whole of HQ turned into a grave of pain and sorrow as they watched the monster crush every soldier to death in front of their eyes through the news drone, and it also destroyed every airstrike jet.

"Whoever can hear this evacuate the area now, save yourself," the general said with no other plan left. "We were fools we can't beat this creature."

Afs soon as Kevin saw everybody getting killed, without hesitating he quickly took his sword ( booster) and ran to sector 13 as fast as he can.

The soldiers attempted to make an escape but then the monster suddenly charged a huge red energy blast and fired it at the soldiers, but then just when everyone thought all hope had been lost a person wearing a mask with a huge smile on it, a blue hoodie, a denim jean, black shoes and carrying a sword that looked like Kevin's appeared he simply cut the blast and it vanished.

Everybody was shocked by this feat. He jumped up to the monster and slashed it's arm off. The monster screamed in agony and attempted to attack him but then he dodged the attack and started to run in the monster's body towards it face.

The monster quickly reacted and attacked him but then he cut off it's second arm and with nothing left to do the monster charged another beam but then he charged blue aura to his sword, cut the blast away and he jumped to it's neck and swinged his sword with monstrous strength and cut its head down and it died..

After killing the monster he jumped down and the monster's body fell down but didn't erode away. The soldiers praised and congratulated him for his victory and called him the saviour. At HQ the general and every other person in there were confused by the fact that a sword could cut the monster down but guns had no effect.

The soldiers approached the saviour to ask him who he was but then he disappeared.
