Danmachi: Exception

In the blink of an eye, Cyrus Valentine goes from bleeding out in a warehouse to standing in the mythical city of Orario. Reborn into a world of gods, monsters, and adventure, he finds himself blessed with otherworldly strength and memories of combat he never learned.



As Cyrus navigates this new reality, he catches the eye of Quetzalcoatl, an Aztec goddess seeking her first familia member. Under her tutelage, he begins to unravel the mysteries of his new existence and the rhythms that govern this world of myth and magic.



But Orario is no paradise. The ever-changing dungeon lurks beneath the city, promising both riches and death. Other gods watch Cyrus with interest, some seeing a potential ally, others a threat to be eliminated.



With each step deeper into the dungeon and further into Orario's complex web of alliances, Cyrus must confront not only the monsters that lurk in the shadows but also the questions that haunt his mind: Who was he before? Why was he chosen? And what price comes with his second chance at life?
