The Federation. Region. Sub-region

Thanks to Raikishi, they quickly left the city of Yaktana. For Anon, the world opened up with a new force. He was finally able to leave his nest and embark on a dangerous journey.

Sitting on Raikishi's back, Anon began to recall everything he knew about the world he lived in. In history and ancient records, this world is referred to as Versania, and it is divided into four large continents:

Dragandia is a continent inhabited by a variety of proud and rebellious dragons. It is also called the dragon continent.

Skadria is the continent where Raikishi and Susu come from. Powerful beast lords rule here, and the diversity of beast races has given rise to many countries. It is also called the continent of beasts.

Terrastia is a continent that is considered forbidden and cursed. In ancient times, it was the center of the whole world, but after a terrible catastrophe struck the world, it was destroyed and doomed to eternal damnation. The catastrophe destroyed all life and vegetation on this continent, and because of the curse, nothing can grow there anymore. Being alive on its territory is deadly dangerous.

Itia is the continent where Anon was born and grew up. It is divided into five large countries run by people. Itia is the only continent where power belongs to the people. On the rest of the continents, despite the presence of settlements and cities, the power belongs to the Beast lords.

All human countries are organized into federations. One of these federations is Aktasia, where the city of Yaktana is located.

Like all federations, Aktasia is divided into regions. There are eight regions in total, numbered from 01 to 08.

Each region of the federation is divided into three subregions. The first sub-region is under the rule of humans. The second sub—region is the wildlands, where beast lords and wild beasts' rule. The third sub-region is a neutral territory where power belongs neither to humans nor to beasts. Although both sub-regions have their own power and their own laws, they are both subject to the highest authority of the federation.

There was a special rule between the first and second subregions, or rather between the beast tamers and the beast lords from the second subregion. In their sub-regions, the rules of the hosts are the law.

If a beast tamer violated the law of the beast lord in the territory of the second sub-region, the law of humans would not protect them. If the tamer dies, people have no right to take revenge. The same applies to the reverse situation: if beasts and beast lords violate the law in the territory of the first human sub-region, then wild beasts and beast lords should not take revenge and hold a grudge in the event of their death.

However, in the third neutral territory, the laws do not apply. Only the strongest is right here.

These rough rules were established not only in one region, but also across the entire continent. This pact was signed by influential people from all three continents so that the beast lords, beast tamers, and contractors from other continents could abide by these rules when coming to the Itia continent. These rules apply not only to locals, but also to outsiders.

When coming to a certain federation and region, outsiders are required to register in a sub-region under the control of humans or beast lords. This is necessary so that in the event of a conflict it is clear to which authority the stranger belongs and what actions he is going to take. If he does not register, then in the event of a conflict, all laws will act against him, and he will not be able to find support from either side.

Each sub-region has its own cities and settlements. The city of Yaktana is the central city of the people's sub—region, which is part of region No. 07 of the Federation of Aktasia. The beast sub-region also has its own main city, where the supreme authority belongs to the beast lord.

Anon, watching Raikishi, realized that she was heading towards the beast sub-region and the Ikkia Federation. He didn't know her plans yet, but he trusted her completely. His confidence in Raikishi was reinforced by the fact that she was the ancestor of Susu. While he wasn't sure about Raikishi, he still trusted Susu.

"What are you thinking about?" Raikishi asked Anon as they flew.

"About a lot," Anon replied. He felt very strange. It was a mixture of fear of the unknown, anxiety about leaving the comfort zone, and a slight anticipation of something new. His mind was in turmoil, and his heart still couldn't calm down.

"I did it anyway. I left my house and everyone," Anon couldn't say, feeling overwhelmed by emotions.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine," Raikishi tried to reassure him.

"Everything happens in life. It's not worth spending your whole life in one place, especially for someone like you. Even if you became a beast tamer or a Contractor, you would still have to leave your home in search of resources and adventures," she said, as if stating a fact.

"Cheer up, Anon. It's not every day and not everyone gets the opportunity to ride on the back of a Rank 8 beast lord before awakening," added Raikishi.

Yes, it wasn't easy for Anon to accept even that. He was sitting on the back of one of the most powerful creatures in the world.

"Thank you," he thanked Raikishi for trying to comfort him and for his help. If it wasn't for her, then most likely, the Fox Empire would have found out his origin soon and captured him. He believed her words because they matched the words of the spirit.

"By the way, when do the beast lords gain the ability to fly?" Anon asked.

"At the seventh level and the seventh rank," Raikishi replied. "Starting from these levels and ranks, tamers and beast lords undergo a second awakening and ascend to a higher life form. This allows them to significantly increase their strength and change as a person."

This revelation was generally consistent with Anon's assumptions.

"It's too early for you to know about this, you haven't passed your first awakening yet. Too much knowledge is not always useful. Some of them, if you receive them ahead of time, can mislead you, lead you astray from the path you are on, and hinder your development. Therefore, I won't tell you many details about level 7 and rank 7.

For ordinary people and beast tamers who have not awakened their talent, knowing what they are not destined to receive can be harmful. It's like showing them a delicious piece of meat, cooking it in front of them, and then telling them they can't eat it. How do you think they will feel?" asked Raikishi.

Anon didn't know what to say. There is no one right answer to this question. But we can assume that many will be jealous. And envy is one of the seven deadly sins that can cause immoral acts.

"I can only tell you the general points without the details," added Raikishi.

"Where are we going?" asked Anon, changing the subject.

"We'll go to the central city of the beast sub-region first. Today we will rest there, and tomorrow we will set off for region No. 03. There we will stop for a short time in the central city of the beast sub-region. It's easier for me to deal with beast than with people, so I think you understand why I chose this path," said Raikishi, voicing her plans for the next few days.

Anon agreed with Raikishi's plan.

"Then we'll figure out how to help you awaken" she added. This statement came as a surprise to Anon. He himself wanted to understand what his path was and how to achieve enlightenment. Finally, Anon felt some encouragement from these words.
