Black Eagle - "The Watchmen of the West"

"A feather falls from his wings. A whisper in the dark. A shadow in the night. Soft. Silent. Then swift like lighting he strikes. Mercy little and strength great - to die or to disappear is your fate. Beware the shadow that flies below the moon. Beware the wings blacker than night."



Or, at least, that's what they say. It's a rumor that's trickling through the underworlds of the Western United States and Northern Mexico. An unsung vigilante, they say, that's not a member of the recently formed Avengers.



Some who claim to have seen him whisper the name "La Sombra", the Shadow. Others murmur 'the Angel of Death'. But the Native Tribes speak the name "Black Eagle" without fear, almost with pride.



Still, most people mock, saying he's just a rumor. A ghost story. But, as an unsuspecting Tony Stark is about to find out, the stories are true.
