For a considerable period after that, we had no contact with each other.

I expressly asked my parents to avoid mentioning Ryan's family in my presence.

In my new surroundings, I formed numerous friendships, participated in various organizations, and maintained a busy schedule daily.

The previous sadness had long since dissipated.

I realized that centering one's life around a single individual is rather uninteresting.

Pondering this, I found myself beginning to understand Ryan's perspective from back then.

The world is expansive, and life is still lengthy. Why limit oneself to one person so soon?

I was grateful for choosing a school in a location without severe winters.

Though the rainy and typhoon seasons were challenging, and there were indeed many roaches.

However, I could observe beautiful blossoms year-round when I looked up. Soon, I couldn't even recall what winter looked like.
