This is the tale of Arin, a once kind-hearted and gentle child, now a man hardened by the cruelty of society and the brutal trials of life—a man transformed into a ruthless criminal, devoid of mercy. As his world was collapsing, fate transported him to a new realm. This world, more vicious and savage than his own, was steeped in magic and dark mysteries.

Ironically, it was in this fearsome world that Arin, now an undead being, began to rediscover his lost humanity. Through battles and bloodshed, amidst the clash of sorcery and steel, he started to reclaim the compassion he once hated. This is not just a story of survival but a saga of transformation. Follow Arin’s journey as he rises to power, determined to become the ruler of this harsh world. In a twist of fate, he now seeks to save the very humanity he once wanted to destroy.

Dark Lord: Rise to Power

The night passed without much event. Arin communicated with both Zulkarnash and Aedric via telepathy to plan their next steps. He informed Aedric of his intention to win the City of Siterion for the glory of Nerthazir and discussed the necessary plans to achieve that goal.

He had learned that Siterion was not ruled by any Barony or Dukedom. The city was officially under the direct control of the Emperor, with a council governing on his behalf. The council consisted of the Noble Faction, represented by Aedric Dovanseer; the Emperor Faction, represented by Captain Duran; and the Commoner Faction, represented by the Adventurers Guild's Siterion City Chapter Leader, Zikar.

This presented Arin with both pros and cons. On the positive side, no noble would likely be involved if he ever captured the city. However, the downside was that the Emperor might get directly involved. Arin decided to let Aedric brainstorm this endeavor, and he would join him later.
