"A dungeon instance token?"
Kael retrieved the Fierce Goblin Token from the inventory to take a closer look at it.
The token has a similar size to a coin. It was thin and had little to no weight. It looked old and rusty, but the figure of a goblin sitting on the throne was still visible on both sides of the token. The goblin was sitting smugly while wearing a large crown, looking like a haughty king.
Since he did not know it, and there was a reminder in the remarks that he must be at level 10 before proceeding, Kael did not investigate it any further. He decided to store it inside his inventory and avoid complications.
Kael continued his journey toward Enrio, killing every Fierce Goblin he encountered without much of a problem.
He did not meet another Fierce Goblin Sword Wielder, though, causing him a little distress. The loot dropped by that monster was, after all, richer compared to Common goblins.
"Although it's not included in the stats, it seems that players are still affected by their stamina and can also grow tired," Kael stopped in his tracks, feeling a little bit tired.
"But Enrio is just ahead, I'll rest for a little bit before moving forward."
"Stats."
Race: Human Class/Job: None Talent: Collector(SSS) Level: 4 (4/130) HP(Health Points): 180/180 MP (Mana Points): 90/90 Str: 15 (1) Int: 14 Agi: 14 Vit: 14 Dex: 14 Cha: 9 Lck: 1 Equipped Items: Ordinary Sword(Str +1) Status Point: 20 Inventory: 20/2000> After killing more than twenty Fierce Goblin, his level finally reached Level 4. His stats also rose to another 3 points each except for Cha and Lck. Although faint, Kael could also tell that he was getting stronger. At the very least, Level 1 to Level 3 Fierce Goblins no longer pose even the slightest threat to him. It must also be noted that when he reached level 2 and killed a Level 1 Goblin, the experience points he received were reduced as a penalty. From the previous 5, it has been reduced to 4. It was the same when he reached level 3. The same rule applies to when he fought Fierce Goblin with a higher level than him, though. His experience points gained were also increased. "Must be a penalty and reward mechanic for fighting lower-level and higher-level foes," Kael murmured while accessing his inventory. A smile immediately sprang up on his lips seeing the items stored inside. His heart palpitated in joy seeing the abundance of the loot obtained from Fierce Goblin. "Too bad, though; there is no variety, and all of them came from the same monster. If I encounter another type of monster, though..." Kael closed the inventory and checked the map once more. He has already traveled a third of the distance toward Enrio. Up ahead, Enrio was also already visible, albeit slightly. Kael turned his head in a particular direction. There, he saw two humans walking side by side with each other. Glancing above their head, he determined them to be a player due to the unique green gem floating above them. According to Vivian, NPCs in New Infinite were very lifelike and behaved just like normal humans. The green gem floating above a player's head was the only way to tell them apart from NPCs, avoiding confusion. Names will only be revealed if the player knows each other, or if the player themselves had set their name to be shown to the public. Kael had encountered more and more players hunting for monsters the closer he got to Enrio. He had observed their battles before, and he could tell that they had not obtained their class yet, as they only used normal attacks just like him. According to Vivian, once a player awakens their class, they would also obtain powerful skills along with it. Storing the sword inside the inventory for the time being, Kael continued forward to Enrio. A moment later, Kael hurriedly retrieved his Ordinary Sword from the inventory. His movements were quick and nimble. He had already done this multiple times earlier after all. Inventory was indeed a very convenient function. Retrieving the Ordinary Sword in an instant, Kael charged forward to the Fierce Goblins ahead of him. Grade: Common Level: 5 Droppable Materials: Fierce Goblin Ear(Common), Fierce Goblin Gallbladder(Common), Fierce Goblin Tooth(Uncommon) Fierce Goblin Claw (Uncommon), Fierce Goblin Blood(Uncommon) Fierce Goblin Blood Essence (Rare)> Both Fierce Goblins were of level 5. A level higher than him. However, Kael felt no fear as he charged toward the two of them bravely. After all, why would he be afraid of walking loots? If it were two Fierce Goblin Sword Wielder, he might have hesitated a bit. However, they were just two Common Grade Fierce Goblins, something that he could easily kill. When the two Fierce Goblin noticed him, they also charged toward him with their claws. Familiar with their attack pattern, Kael took a step forward and pierced the skull of one of the Fierce Goblin with his Ordinary Sword. Blood splattered everywhere. Kael pulled the bloodied sword out while evading the claw of the other Fierce Goblin with ease. After landing, Kael delivered a kick, sending the small goblin flying like an empty trashcan being kicked forcefully. Seeing that the first goblin exploded into lights, Kael wasted no time to pursue the other one. After kicking its legs one more time, Kael pierced its neck with his sword, killing it instantly. The goblin's body exploded into lights and transformed into an array of items that were directly stored inside his inventory. Just as he was about to celebrate his victory by checking his inventory, Kael's heart suddenly trembled. "Huh? Danger!" Kael widened his eyes in horror. His mind began to race as he felt the temperature rise around him. Woooo! A whistling sound came from behind him. Without turning his head, Kael immediately stepped to the side and hopped a few distances away from his previous location. At the corner of his eye, Kael saw something orange pass by. Boom! As the explosion entered his ears, Kael turned his head toward the source, and his eyes widened in surprise… And excitement.
