The First High Priestess part 1

 "This is our country's greatest achievement and mine too. I'm sorry we didn't have more time. I'll always love you… I wish I could have had children with you and formed a beautiful family…"

"BOOM"

An explosion interrupted the man's last words. He looked back worriedly and then said: "Now go! Follow this passage. Someone will help you get out of the capital and take you to that safe place…"

Anita nodded with her eyes full of tears as she received a kiss from her beloved. She knew that this was the last time she would see him alive again. Something deep in her heart told her to stay and fight by his side, but she knew that as a common human, she couldn't do anything to help him. And she also knew that the best way to honor her beloved was to protect his most important creation from being stolen and destroyed. After all, this devastating attack could only be because of this item, right?

As she prepared to run through a damp, poorly lit tunnel, Anita wondered again what such an incredible man like him saw in such a simple woman like her? She was nothing more than a secretary at the Institute of Magic, but he was the most brilliant magical scientist, not only in the Water Tribe, but in the entire Four Elements Alliance.

Looking at him one last time, she saw his boots glow and he flew towards the sky, while flames came out of his hands burning something far away that she could not see. She then wiped the tears from her face, closed the passage and ran without stopping. As she ran, she did not realize that she was feeling the humidity of the tunnel a little differently than before. After 10 minutes, she arrived at a cave where an underground train was waiting for her. There was no one here except the engineer, his family and a dozen children who were crying in fright. Soon the train let out a loud whistle and began to move quickly through an underground tunnel.

Half a day later, the train arrived at an open space where a truck had already been prepared for them. Anita went in front of the truck with the driver who was waiting for them. The engineer and his family, along with all the other children, went in the back of the truck. As they drove along a winding road full of potholes, the man turned to Anita and said:

"My name is Lucas, nice to meet you."

"No problem. I was so distracted that I didn't introduce myself either. My name is Anita. Your name… Are you from the Fire Empire?"

"Yes, I'm sorry. I was just supposed to be the driver for the person who was supposed to meet you here, but he succumbed to his injuries. Take this. He made me swear to give it to someone from the Aqua Tribe. He said that if I did that, I could stay in the safe place that you and the Earth Nation had created."

The man then handed Anita a closed box, and when she opened it, she saw a jewel in the shape of a red triangle. The jewel was warm to the touch, and Anita quickly took her own item out of her box and realized that the heart-shaped jewel that she now had a connection to was cold to the touch. She knew that these were the famous Relics and the two most important items of the two countries, and she then felt the weight of responsibility, now that these two items were in her hands, what should she do with them? She then answered the man.

"Don't worry, if the place we are going is where I imagine it to be, there is enough room for you and everyone in the back."

"Thank you, Mrs. Anita, thank you very much."

Anita was going to tell the man not to be so respectful to her, but when she noticed that he had tears in his eyes, she remained silent and waited for the journey to end. And just as she had expected, they had now arrived at a place by the sea. Not only that, there was a large boat and some people in the place, but two robust and bad-looking men stood out, they wore primitive clothes made of animal skins and wore accessories with animal claws and fangs. Anita recognized them as the infamous werewolves.

Beside them, an injured woman was sitting with a box similar to the two Anita had. The two remaining people were children who were either sons or had some kind of relationship with the injured woman. When Anita arrived, everyone was watching her, but that didn't last long. A huge aircraft appeared on the horizon, it had some kind of defect and there was a lot of smoke coming out of the "engine", but despite that, it still managed to fulfill its purpose when it landed in the surroundings of where they were. When Anita saw the aircraft, she already knew that they belonged to the Sky Country, and inside that plane should be the last Relic.
