When Natasha woke up she saw some familiar faces nearby, she still felt strange for having had such a vivid dream. Ivan looked at her worriedly while holding her hand, her grandfather was also there looking tired.
"Natasha, I'm glad you woke up, we were worried." Ivan said.
"Are you okay, child?" her grandfather asked.
Natasha waved at them, while looking at the other two faces worriedly, one of them was the Grand Elder and the other was the High Priestess. It was only then that she realized she was on a bed inside the carriage where she had merged with the Water Relic.
Before she could say anything, the Grand Elder stood up, shooing Ivan and her grandfather out of there.
"I told you she was fine and would wake up, it was just a weather illness, now leave the High Priestess's quarters, you have been bothering her a lot with your presence..."
The two said goodbye to Natasha and left the carriage, finally leaving the three of them alone. When this happened, the High Priestess looked at Natasha with a serious expression.
"I, I... I'm so sorry... I just wanted to be a priestess, it wasn't my intention to take control of the Relic, I thought I could give it back, after gaining the ability of a priestess..."
"That's not all, girl. How are we going to explain to your Alpha now that one of his lycans gained the ability of a priestess? If you've seen the High Priestess' memories, you must know that the Relic only works with humans. But you've circumvented that by using this last-resort method." The Elder said in an anxious tone.
"Who said the Relic only works with humans? Didn't the first High Priestess give the wind relic to the lycans?"
"The first High Priestess?" The High Priestess replied.
"Yes, her name was Anita. Haven't you seen her memories and those of all the others?"
The first Elder widened her eyes and the High Priestess opened her mouth. Before one looked at the other with a knowing look.
"So that's why she was unconscious for so many days…"
"I thought she was like that because she was a Lycan."
"What else did you see, girl?" the Elder asked.
Natasha then told everything… It was only when night fell that she left the Tribe leader's carriage. She had to agree to keep the fact that the Relic was now in her possession a secret. The migration had changed to daytime and it was now nighttime, and she also realized that there was a lot of sand under her feet. They were in some desert, and according to the High Priestess, she had slept for almost 10 days.
Feeling the dry desert air, Natasha took her canteen and drank some of the water inside, she then focused on the surroundings, and even with the dry desert air she managed to quickly gather a quantity of water that entered inside her canteen. She then gathered more water and moved it with great ease around her like a small snake. She smiled delightedly at how easy it was to move that small amount of water. She had made so many preparations to create some special containers that would help control her weak power making it useful in a fight, but now only 1 of them would be useful.
Fusing with the Relic gave her the power of several priestesses, her healing was much stronger and easier to use and she could also give anyone the same ability that the priestesses had without limitations of race or gender. The gender and virginity part had always been a lie to control the birth rate of the Tribe. And she promised to keep everything a secret as much as possible, or at least until the migration was over. She then quickly hid the amount of water that was circulating around her and looked around to confirm that no one had seen it, before looking for her grandfather and Ivan.

Back in the carriage, the High Priestess was more relaxed than she should have been. Of course, she didn't have to worry so much about this birth problem now since they were going to another place with more resources. But without the Relic she even felt like she didn't have many burdens anymore and actually appreciated some of the freedom she had. Always keeping an eye on everything and controlling Borys' greed was very tiring for her.
"There is something I haven't told you, in fact I doubt the girl saw it in my memories either, since I discovered this information before I became a High Priestess during my training..."
The High Priestess immediately lost her relaxed face. "What was it?"
"When I told you about how to fuse with the Relic, I didn't give you all the details, I just said it would be dangerous… It was because I was afraid you wouldn't accept the consequences of the fusion…"
"What details?" She asked, taking a deep breath in concern…
"Whoever fuses with the relic will only be able to live for another 10 years…"
