I leaned back in my seat, watching the door open.

First, Damon entered.

As he greeted me, he walked ahead, leaving space for another one to enter the room.

Mira.

Her twin sister did not show up with her this time.

She probably would have guessed already that her sister might have dug a grave with her words.

"Alpha," she bowed as she greeted him.

I just responded with a curt nod when Damon stepped in.

"Tell Alpha what you told me."

My brows arched as my gaze settled on her.

She is pretty fast with her work.

Not everyone had my appreciation, and Mira was one of them.

She nodded at Damon's words, she then glanced in my direction not having courage to meet my eyes.

Her eyes then settled on the ground as she started speaking, "My suspicion was wrong. Luna is not hiding anything."
