In the end, it was Garrison who rushed over from out of town, exhausting every sweet talk and promise to finally appease Director Belmont's anger.

In contrast, Melody was praised time and time again by Director Belmont, who even declared in front of everyone, "Melody was simply born for this role."

Melody graciously expressed her thanks, then turned and whispered to me, "Thank goodness you were here, otherwise I wouldn't have survived the director's scolding."
