After Dylan was checked over by the pack doctor, she grabbed his things from the locker room and stormed into the pack house. They were clearly over the boil, my father stood in front of me. Not that it was really necessary, but I still liked that he did it.
It was clear that Alpha Drake had to do his best to hold back his wolf. Dylan was clearly not happy either, but that last kick to the head was hard and he was clearly still suffering from it.
My mother came in with something to drink and told me that there were snacks on the table in the dining room. Now you should know that we wolves can hardly say no to food, so even though they were still angry, Alpha Drake and Dylan were persuaded to come and eat. While we were eating, my mother complimented Dylan. "I heard you fought Laura for over 2 hours, that's impressive." "No one has ever lasted that long on their own."
Laura usually fights 3 or more opponents, otherwise there will be nothing left of our fighters." she laughed.
While eating I noticed Dylan kept giving me dirty looks. In the meantime, my mother continued to shower compliments on Dylan, but also on Luna and the pack soil of Alpha Drake. No one could give compliments like my mother. By the end of the snacks, Alpha Drake was a lot calmer, Dylan looked angry less often, but I knew that a mating request would not be forthcoming. I was happy about that, Dylan was not what I expected from my mate. So far, none of the men I had met were what I was looking for in my mate. But not long after dinner, Alpha Drake and Dylan returned to their own pack, indeed without request.
After the Alpha and Dylan left, I told my parents that I was going for a run, which I always did after an Alpha had passed by. I took off my clothes at the back door and placed them neatly in a pile. I turned into my wolf Mira, she had been restless all day. As always she was angry that we had to perform for an Alpha again, we are not clowns! Although Mira didn't mind it as much today because we were able to go wild, she still felt like a show dog. I let her take complete control and took some rest, which I always liked. Then I could process everything for a while, I didn't have to pay attention to my body because that's what Mira did.
Mira and I were good friends, really best buddies, and that was great. Of course we didn't always agree with each other, after all we are 2 different individuals. It sometimes happens that the human half and the wolf half don't like each other very much, which is like having a nagging shadow all day long.
Mira runs some more until she smells a familiar smell.
