In a world where swords and sorcery dictate the progression and stability of the world, Xerxes finds himself caught up in the middle of that established world, questioning it's current standard. Why? After a devastating mission to a place exempt from those rules, The Fallen Kingdom, he discovers a scope of truth and power that goes beyond what he has known, that he must hold close to him, whilst discovering why he has to. This is because if he lets go off that very truth and power, it may one day turn everyone and everything against, or it could make everyone and everything praise him.
I’m starting to really enjoy this keep it up, it gives a different feel to the other stories even though it seem a bit cliche I’m ready for how you approach this story.
Hello all, it's the author of the fallen kingdom. I want to first thank you all for the support! I felt like it was time to write something for you all and answer questions that may be asked. Despite being at 10 chapters at the point of writing this, I would like to keep it as a journal and as a promise to you current readers and to my future readers. I have been planning this story for a few years at this points, doing some 'rps' with my friend who has helped me a considerable amount through my journey allowing me to flesh characters out, explore different themes and solidify the concept I want to follow, so for the next few years I will do my best to impress you all and really make you all apart of the story. What was your inspiration for beginning to write? I felt as if it was something I had always aspired to do. My minds been create for quite a while, ever since I was a child I always enjoyed a creative side to things - my first instance being drawing, till eventually I realised in school I was quite good at english without trying too much and by consuming media I wanted something that I could provide to people, a world where they felt immersed, where characters felt real and an escape. How many chapters will TFK have? If I am consistent all throughout the story at roughly 2.5k words each chapter, I think I can easily get TFK to 700-1000 chapters that will be comprised into 15-20 arcs. Will your writing consistency change? Well I haven't thought about that at this point, if the story gets even more popular to a point it could sustain income, I would love to make this my full time job, but even if I can't I would still be glad to keep on writing as this is my passion. I will usually stick to around 4-5 chapters per week, but I am still in school so my writing consistency may slow down because of my important exams. Tell us about Xerxes Draedon? Xerxes was someone tired of being punished for being weak, he watched idly as devastation consumed him, whether he was too slow to reach the people he loved, or too weak to be strong enough to save them. He knew it just wasn't something he wanted anymore but something he needed, and that strength had begin to make the established society to question him and his decisions that are in place to protect everyone. What's your favourite aspect of the story? This is quite a hard question, whilst I love my character-believing they are the foundation of making a story, I know that the history I have planned is definitely enticing and brings the plot from then to now together, the past and the present playing hand in hand to shape the future. What are the biggest themes in your story? Definitely identity, Identity was something I didn't even know was the idea of what I wanted the message to be, but I want to explore different themes and plots for different characters: Identity, redemption, hope, chaos, hatred, ego and all that other good stuff. Perspective swaps and how are you going to do them? I will definitely incorporate many different perspectives into the story. As I said earlier characters are the foundation of the story, and even though it is Xerxes' story, the others in the story equally play a part. Artwork? As for artwork, I have pieces coming together and as the story grows I will definitely have artwork being key and potentially when the story reaches a secret milestone, I can start considering a webcomic for TFK! 5 stars? 5 stars is what I have envisioned for the story, even though it may not be 5*'s right now, I know the story will achieve that and I will convince everyone of how great my writing and story can be. So thank you all for being here!
so far, as this is a new story I do not see any official character designs, nor are there enough chapters to rate it on 'stability of updates' but this novel feels authentic, like there is a REAL passion behind this writer and their story, Congrats on your first 1k views :)
Saw this on my fyp and even though it doesnt have character art it gives good descriptions of them and on his tiktok he said some character art coming soon so im excited. Besides that the book has been everything I've wanted. I love tbate, ss and lotm and I'm getting good vibes from that and in this book, it gives a unique feel but it also is thrilling. Xerxes = 1 fave Dorian = 2 fave Aemon = 3
