Kaia
Slap. Slap. Warren just slapped me twice, on both cheeks. It hurt so bad that it took a moment before the pin-drop could be heard from both ears.
"Because of you, the Bank's are insisting that we give them a plausible explanation as to why you slapped their daughter!" Warren yelled, pacing back and forth anxious. "Why are both my good-for-nothing kids hellbent on humiliating me?"
"Kaia, don't just kneel there being all mute. Your father is talking to you." Annie said.
Kaia swallowed down the pain she was still feeling from those two slaps. "She's the reason everyone at school found out about Mr Fitzgerald trying to take advantage of me."
The two grown adults looked confused. How would they know when all they care about is themselves and the family business.
"Even at that, how could you slap her? I hear after classes ended, you jumped on her again in the washroom. You know that we still need to suck up to her parents for them to invest in our business. How could you mess thus up for me?!" Warren abruptly went upstairs, still fuming.
Annie rubbed her forehead as she took a seat on one of the couches. Seeing that she wouldn't say anything, I got up from my kneeling position and made my way upstairs to my bedroom.
All this wouldn't be happening if Nadia and her parents hadn't decided to move back here. Ever since Nadia joined Elitecrest High, everything's been going wrong, left and right.
But first things first, I have to prove to everyone that Nadia's the culprit. That way, her reputation at school will not be the same. No one will look up to her as the future valedictorian or suck up to her, all in the name of building connections with the influential Banks' heiress.
