Chapter 11: The Last Piece of the Puzzle

Chapter 11: The Last Piece of the Puzzle.

The events of the previous day still haunt Reggie. The sound loss has been resolved and the perpetrators have been brought to justice. But there is still a mystery: the identity of the author of the mystery that started it all. Reggie sits at his desk, drinking coffee and looking over his notes, feeling frustrated. Who could have written this and why? Lucy walked straight into the room and looked at him intently. "I've been thinking about this note," he said. "I think I know who wrote it."

Reggie's eyes were full of interest. "Who?" he asked. Lucy returned. "I think she might be Henry's sister Victoria," he said. Reggie's eyes widened. "Victoria?" he repeated. "But why would he write this book?"

Lucy nodded. "I don't know," he said. "But I know Victoria has been acting a little different lately. She's worried, anxious, and I've seen her and Henry argue multiple times."

Reggie's mind was in a flashback state. Was Victoria involved in voter fraud? If so, why? When Reggie and Lucy arrived at the Smith Resort, Victoria personally greeted them. He looked grim and scary, and Reggie knew he was hiding something. "Victoria, we need to talk to you," Reggie said calmly. Victoria nodded and led them to a small room. "What is it?" he asked in a trembling voice. Reggie handed him the letter. "Did you write this?" he asked. Victoria's eyes widened as if she was surprised. "Where did you get this?" he asked. Reggie's eyes widened. "That's not a question, Victoria," he said. "The question is, did you write the note?"

Victoria nodded again. "Yes," he said. "But I didn't mean to cause trouble... I was just trying to protect my family."

Reggie's eyes softened. "Protect your family from what?" he asked. Victoria took a deep breath. The secret was Henry. "He was hiding something, and I knew his voice was the key to revealing the truth."

Reggie's mind was in a tizzy. What secret was Henry hiding? How did this voice fit in with everything? As Reggie and Lucy left home, they couldn't contain their joy. They eventually uncovered the author of the book and let them know the truth. But as they left the house, Reggie couldn't help but feel a pang of worry. There were still many questions that hadn't been answered, and it seemed like they had only scratched the surface of the whole picture. When they returned to the office, Reggie's phone rang. He picked up the phone and listened carefully to the voice on the other end of the line. "What's that?" Lucy asked, eyes wide. Reggie's eyes widened. He said it was Henry. "He wants to see us." He said he had something important to tell us. Lucy's eyes sparkled with joy. "What do you think?" he asked. Reggie knew what to do. "I don't know," he said. But I guess we'll find out. When he arrived at the rendezvous, Reggie was not happy. What would Henry tell them? How would it affect the problem? Henry watched them sit down. "I have something to tell you," he said. "Something that could change everything."

Reggie's eyes widened. "What is it?" he asked. Henry took a deep breath. He said, "I'm not you. I'm not the real Henry Smith."

Reggie's eyes widened in shock. "What do you think?" he asked. Henry's words were sad. "This means I'm a liar." "For years, I thought I was Henry Smith, but that's not the case."

Reggie's mind was racing. What does this mean for the case? But who is the real Henry Smith? As Reggie and Lucy left the meeting place, they couldn't help but feel shocked and confused. The case deteriorated dramatically, leaving more questions than answers.
