"Are you satisfied?" he asked, walking to the fire where she already sat. "Can you yet call yourself the greatest knight?
"Not until I can beat you," Irene argued.
Despite how serious he looked only moments before, he cracked a smile.
"But you saved my life," he insisted.
Synopsis:
With a second chance given to her after a pathetic ending to a life she didn’t want, Irene Litharion decides that she will follow in her father’s footsteps and become a knight.
Waking up in the body of her eleven year old self, she’s reinvigorated to follow her heart. She has the rare blood of ancient warriors in her veins and promises to not turn her back to it anymore.
Prepared for the sacrifices she will have to make to live the life she wants, a new challenge is presented when the only way she can become an apprentice knight is to turn her back on femininity altogether. The years she spent being forced to attend etiquette lessons go out the window and instead, daily sword practice takes place.
Her father does all he can to get her into the knighthood, but it’s up to her to show her strength and skill to stay in it.
However, it’s different than she expects when the Monster War ravages her homeland, she learns the sting of loss, and secrets of her own blood present themselves the more she leans into the thrill of battle.
Queen has the knack to bring something different to the genres with her unique ideas. A female knight's idea will be epic just like all her other unique ones. Only six chapters so far but the story is flowing smoothly and the characters are already leaving their impact. It will be another amazing book by the great author. Good luck 🤞🏻

Read all the available chapters and wanted more! The premise of going against the norm is strong in this one, especially since it’s not only against society but also affects the family. But our MC understands the trade-off and is willing to make the sacrifice! Tears won’t get you far enough, but grit will, and Irene was sure as hell determined! The writing is superb and the little rascal had me thinking about her next plans! Even felt like scolding her brother for good measure. Felt relatable enough when I realized lol! 🤣 Please upload more chapters! 🙏

This is book is fantastic the writing is so smooth and the world building is amazing, I literally fell into the story. This story is about really living life like you only have it once and not wasting it. The characters are so believeable and it's beautiful to know that in a way this story is empowering for women. Keep up the excellent work author!
The author's book is something rare to be found on WN, honestly. It's so admirable to see a young girl dreams to be the greatest knight, following her father's footsteps She's so feisty and knows what she wants for her future. Her character reminds me of Merida, who faced opposition (for example from her mother) because her dreams defy how a young lady should carry themselves during the medieval times The author is clearly a history enthusiast, especially for medieval history. The writing balances between action and the other elements of narrative All the best author! go go go!
