Later that night, after the two witches left the dark graveyard, and finished burying Sandra Starbright, they seemed to ignore George Sneaky was even there. change for the worse.
Sandra realized she couldn't leave her bathroom. She would like to remain there, until somebody uses the Ouija board to set her free from the Better Place. She looked at the glowing ghost mirror in her bathroom. She couldn't believe she could see what was happening in the graveyard, where her best friend, George Sneaky, was mourning over the loss of his best friend.
If only Sandra could get his friend's attention, George would know everything would be alright. Suddenly, the Ouija board started to rattle and move. Sandra gasped and bent down to her knees to watch with fascination.
Sandra watched Oujia start to move the mouse pointer on the game board.Trying to grab hold of the mouse pointer on the game board, it gave Sandra an electrical shock! Sending her flying against the closed bathroom door!
After being knocked out, Sandra drifted off unconscious. She slumped to the bottom of the bathroom door, and fell unconscious. As the haunted Ouija board continued spelling out a message in the game board, the bathroom mirror returned to normal. It was almost going to be daylight. The weather was cold and dreary. He walked over to Sandra's freshly buried grave. George fell to his knees. Taking his hand, he swept it over the fresh soil mound of dry dirt over her grave.
"I'm sorry this happened to my best friend," George said, out loud to himself. He felt bad that George couldn't do anything to help his friend. Sandra wasn't prepared for what was about to happen to her physical body. "Her spirit had left Sandra Starbright?" George asked himself.
Before the witches buried Sandra in her grave, her real body after she got knocked out. It went somewhere Sandra was familiar with. It took her back to her haunted bathroom in her small duplex house in Supernaturalville. Where her life seemed to d to normal reflection. Showing it a normal bathroom, like any other.
The message was spelling the words on the game board: "My name is Ghost Chaser! There is a way to keep the Better Place well protected. You must believe in me, Sandra Starbright, I am capable of unleashing the evil ghosts who exist in the Better Place, who are desperate to escape from."
Nothing made more sense to the Ghost Chaser to get Sandra to believe he is real and can be helpful. The Ouija game board on the bathroom floor started to shake and rattle. The message the Ghost Chaser made, started to make the letters on the game board, start to glow.
A swirl of mist and fog came from the mouse point on the game board. It swelled up and started circling around Sandra, who remained unconscious. The haunted fog coming from the Ouija game board, cloaked around Sandra. Then, it lifted the girl from her place on the bathroom floor. And took her inside through her haunted ghost mirror in her bathroom.
Sandra found herself floating back in the familiar world of the graveyard somewhere in the Better Place. It was still dark and she was floating in the air unconsciously toward her best friend, George Sneaky who was mourning over the loss of his best friend, Sandra Starbright at her grave site.
While George was mourning and having trouble coping over the loss of his best friend, Sandra was getting closer to them in the graveyard to the Better Place. Finally, she stopped floating in the graveyard. Opening her eyes, Sandra gasped and screamed! She realized she was floating in the air, and quickly lost her concentration. She fell to the dirt ground with hard plop.
Looking up, she saw her best friend, crying by her tombstone, there was a shadowy figure holding a scythe in one of his hands. It stood behind Sandra's tombstone where she was buried, and the creature hiding behind a black cloak pointed a bony finger at her.
"Who are you?" Sandra asked, out loud in a choked whisper. The skeleton creature hiding from his black cloak and hood over his face, pointed his attention to make Sandra continue floating toward them.
"Sandra, I'm not going to hurt you," the creature in the black cloak said telepathically in Sandra's head. She didn't want to believe this was happening. But she couldn't ignore it. The creepy creature was controlling Sandra.
"Don't be afraid of me," the dark cloaked creature said, honestly. With his bony skeleton hands outreached, he hypnotized Sandra with his unique ability to make Sandra float to him. "It's almost time to wake up your ghost to haunt your Mom and Dad for the fun of spooking habits," it said.
The dark cloaked creature snapped its bony fingers! Sandra appeared by her grave with her best friend, George Sneaky mourning with his head over his hands on her tombstone, crying. Sandra suddenly opened her eyes, wide like in a trance. She stood in front of her grave, where she was buried alive. And didn't know who to trust to make them go away.
"Who are you?" Sandra repeated, she shivered in the cold weather. "I shouldn't talk to strangers. I believe my parents are not going to like what happened to me. They wouldn't even like me giving them a hard time, either," Sandra said.
The dark hooded cloaked creature laughed. "I'm going to make your best friend notice you, first. Before we go back to the real world," he said. Snapping his fingers, he made George Sneaky appear in a hypnotic trace. He turned and saw Sandra before him. It seemed the creepy cloaked creature was invisible to George. But he was happy to see Sandra's ghost before him.
"Sandra! It's so good to see you!" George said, excitedly. He almost wanted to run over to Sandra and give her a hug. But he stopped himself. "I thought something happened to you?" George asked. He turned and looked at Sandra's freshly made grave, where the witches buried her alive.
Sandra smiled, and gave George a hug. "Now, you must know I'm okay, I can move on. But I'm afraid the witches will be back for more revenge," Sandra continued. George realized Sandra was hiding something she was keeping from him. He wanted to know everything she knows about the Better Place.
"I don't think you are quite ready to move on, Sandra Starbright," George said. "Because you wouldn't want to be back in the Better Place. Where it's not safe from the ghosts who are trying to get through to your bathroom mirror. Into the real world, where they want to haunt the living to give them invisible power more than they can imagine," George said.
The Ghost Chaser's eyes glowed and laughed. He smashed his scythe on the ground, making Sandra and George gasp with fright. They turned and saw him before them. Sandra grabbed and hugged George for dear life.
"You kids are so touching!" Ghost Chaser exclaimed, sarcastically. "You don't know what's really going on here, do you?" he asked, not taking his eyes off the two startled children. They didn't respond. Or know how to react. They were shocked to see the dark cloaked creature before them.
"What do you want from us?" George asked, his voice low and meaningful. "We don't have anything you want. We're just kids. We don't have much to offer. I don't want to disappoint you or anything. But you shouldn't make us believe what is not real," he said.
The Ghost Chaser growled angrily. He pounded his scythe on the ground again. "You will understand me when I explain that the ghosts in the Better Place are getting restless. They want to wake up from the Better Place. They want to live in Supernaturalville again. If you don't help me, the ghosts will get mad. And disturb you, Sandra, in your bathroom. Where they come from," the Ghost Chaser explained.
"What's making the ghosts upset?" George asked. "There must be something causing them to feel disturbed. The Better Place should be their home, forever," he said. Lightning flashed in the night sky. A couple of black crows flew over the full moon, hidden behind the storm clouds.
The Ghost Chaser nodded and understood. "But! They want to experience what it means to be alive again! They need your bodies, Sandra and George! To be able to exist in the real world, the ghosts need to take over your bodies. It's the only way to make the ghosts happy," the Ghost Chaser said.
Suddenly, they turned their attention to the dark stormy night sky. They saw and heard the two witches, Gene and Cookie flying over the full moon on their broomstick. They were headed back to the graveyard. Birds hovered in the sky. They couldn't be excited to see the two kids weren't alone.
