Alvin was just another waiter, trying to make a living in another country where living was a battlefield.

But all of a sudden his life took an unexpected turn when their restaurant had a not usual guest. 

One night, all it took was one night to turn his life upside down.

Now he must learn to steel himself to prepare for what's to come, to shed his fear of death, and to move on from the loss of his loved ones.

The only relief he had after discarding his identity as a human was that he could still eat his favorite stuffed garlic bread.

As he moved on with his life, day by day, facing challenges upon challenges, Alvin started sensing something amiss about himself, about his life.

Why did it suddenly start to feel like something was watching his every move from the shadow? Why did every action seem to be pushed by someone lurking behind the scenes?

'I have to get out of here.' As her body was thrown in the air, Serena ignored the pain and already made plans to escape. 'Five minutes are about to be over. No one told me this woman was a Noble'.

She felt an agonizing pain coursing through her body when she collided against a glass window, and shards of glass pierced her. She rolled on the ground and stood up hastily. 'She is coming!'

Without looking back, Serena could feel Elara chasing after her, and she ran for the only escape route she could see in front of her.

Just as she jumped out of the window on the other side of the room she entered from, she caught sight of a man hiding in the shadow of a building. Catching sight of the man, a maniacal gleam flashed through her eyes. 'I knew you would not run on me, Sean.'
