The Train to Barcelona

That night, Daniel packed a small bag. He had to leave.

Before he could, his phone buzzed. A text from an unknown number:

"RUN. NOW."

His door burst open. Men in suits flooded into his room.

Daniel barely reacted in time. His mind slowed the world around him, allowing him to dodge the first man. He sprinted through the window, crashing onto the rooftop below.

The chase was on.

Daniel ran. Through streets, past alleyways, until he reached the train station.

The last train to Barcelona was about to leave. He jumped aboard just as the doors shut.

But he wasn't alone. A man followed him onto the train.

And he wasn't human.

The man moved unnaturally fast. His eyes glowed faintly in the dim light.

"You can't escape us," he whispered.

Daniel dodged as the man lunged, but the train car was too small to run.

For the first time, Daniel had no choice.

He had to fight.

After barely surviving the fight, Daniel reached Barcelona, where Whitaker was waiting.

Whitaker took him to a secret facility, where Daniel finally learned the truth.

He wasn't the only one with powers.

There were others.

And The Dominion was hunting them all.

The Dominion attacked the facility. It was an all-out battle.

Daniel, now embracing his powers, led the survivors in a desperate fight.

But The Dominion had a secret weapon.

And Daniel was at the center of it.

With the Dominion defeated, Daniel stood at a crossroads.

He could return to a normal life or so he thought.

Or he could fight back.

He looked at Sofia. Then at Whitaker.

And made his decision.
