I stared at Killian for a moment. He was probably a good half foot taller than my 5’5” frame, and looked to be about my age, with dirty-blond shaggy hair and kind brown eyes. His gentle smile and kind demeanor immediately made me feel comfortable and I found myself smiling in agreement.
“Sure, why not. I’ve had a really bad couple of days, and just turned down what could have been a great job. I could use the distraction. I’m Madison, by the way.”
Killian let out a startled laugh at my rambling and extended his hand. “It’s nice to meet you, Madison. You look like you can use a friend. How about I take some photos of you, buy you lunch, and you can tell me all about it.”
