this fic has been translated up to chapter 46 with the title ‘danmachi, the legend of emiya’. so far the story is enjoyable, the translation is also quite good. i hope this time it won't be dropped, because this fic was dropped once because the raw chapters were stuck and it was necessary to pay to read more chapters.

This fanfic had the potential to be an exciting fusion of two great franchises, but instead, it feels more like a hollow power fantasy than a real story. Shirou Emiya is thrown into Orario, but instead of adapting or struggling, he instantly becomes a perfect, overpowered hero worshipped by everyone. The writing is one of the biggest problems—full of grammar mistakes, stiff dialogue, and repetitive internal monologues. It’s clear the author loves the characters, but that love doesn’t translate into meaningful development or worldbuilding. The crossover aspects are barely explored; magecraft and falna never clash or create tension. Shirou just coasts through everything without consequence. The harem aspect is especially weak. Female characters fall for Shirou instantly, often without reason or buildup. There’s no slow burn, no chemistry—just girls blushing and admiring him because he’s strong and kind. It turns beloved characters like Ais and Hestia into bland love interests with little agency or depth. Overall, it reads more like a self-insert power fantasy than a thoughtful crossover. With better pacing, relationship development, and actual character growth, it could improve. But as it stands, it’s disappointingly shallow and hard to take seriously.

Boa história, envolvente, interações bem construída e certos momentos de humor, principalmente quando Emiya Shirou está envolvido diretamente. Com certeza essa fanfic vai longe se continuar nesse ritmo.

The story is interesting. Emiya Shirou's character development after the events of the movie "Oath in the Snow" is very intriguing. Even despite his small body, he is still Emiya Shirou, He's still the one who finished the Grail War in a couple of hours. Translation. It's good. The chapters are stable. I'm satisfied.

I cant remember the last time i gave a perfect 5☆ review, but this story earned it! After reading multiple "emiya" or "heroic spirit" danmachi fanfics, this one blows every other out of the water. Be it properly following correct canon terminology or keeping true to original personalities, this one tracks My only complaint is to myself, wishing i had found it later so i had more to read before catching up! 😅

I've already read this story through the translation "Danmachi: The Legend of Emiya" up to chapter 46, I'll be skimming it until I get to that chapter, but I'll be paying attention to details to check if there are any changes and if the author will fix the mistakes made by the original, in terms of how Shirou's Magecraft works.
