Become My Personal Secretary

Sophia was taken aback. This sounded familiar, just like what he said to her on their wedding day.

"Can I not sign?"

"No, you cannot," Robert replied firmly.

Sophia had no choice but to sign the document, not wanting to offend Robert.

"You didn't even read the document..."

Robert's eyes were deep. "Turn to page three."

Sophia was shocked when she saw what was written.

"Master Miller, you tricked me."

"It's not me who tricked you, it's your own fault for not reading the document," Robert corrected Sophia.

"I didn't expect someone of your status to trick me," Sophia was angry but didn't dare to vent her frustration on Robert.

"That's not my fault," Robert's face was indifferent. "Read it out loud."

Sophia was unhappy but still read it out loud, "To be your 24-hour personal secretary, to be a mother to your five-year-old son, and not allowed to live anywhere except for the estate. In case of any accidents, I must inform you."

Robert took the file and looked at Sophia's name, a hint of satisfaction flashing in his eyes.

"Since Master Miller asked me to sign the document, then please have Master Miller sign this prenuptial agreement," Sophia placed the contract in front of Robert.

Robert looked deeply at Sophia without saying a word, then stood up and left.

Sophia hurriedly followed Robert to the car.

"Master Miller, please sign the contract between us first."

He had just tricked her into losing her freedom, and she couldn't give him another chance. Once he signed the contract, she would have some security.

"Be quiet," Robert frowned, looking displeased.

Sophia felt the chill emanating from Robert, and the words on her lips were swallowed back.

She was angry and helpless, but she needed Robert, so she could only endure this handsome man who was always unpredictable.

Inside the Miller Family Group, Robert looked at his assistant, David, with a meaningful look. "Take care of her affairs."

"Miss Martinez, please follow me," David made a gesture to Sophia.

Sophia followed David and listened to him arrange her work.

She glanced over and saw that her workspace was separated from Robert's by a glass wall, and he could see everything she did with just a glance.

"Assistant Gu, do I have to work here?" Sophia asked.

"Yes," David replied.

"Can we put a film on the glass so it's not transparent?" Sophia asked, feeling uneasy about working in such close proximity to Robert after their unpleasant encounter at the villa.

"No, we can't," David shook his head. "Is there anything else you need?"

Sophia shook her head and said, "No, thank you, Assistant Gu."

"Don't mention it. If you need anything, just let me know," David said respectfully. "Madam."

The use of "Madam" made Sophia's scalp tingle.

She thought of the day she married Robert and how David was there, but she calmed down.

In the pantry, Sophia sat in a chair drinking coffee when four elegantly dressed women walked in.

"I wonder where this secretary who was parachuted into President Robert's office came from," one of them said.

"That woman's name is Sophia, and she looks like a fox spirit," another added.

Sophia listened to the mockery and jealousy in the women's words and frowned.

"Fox spirit, bring it on, and I'll tear you apart. Trying to steal President Robert, you're asking for trouble."

"Wait for her to go to the bathroom, then lock her in and welcome the CEO's secretary with a bucket of cold water."

"Cold water is too cheap. Just push her down the stairs. If something happens in the Miller Family Group, with President Robert there, no one will dare to make trouble."

"Which newcomer do you want to teach a lesson?" Sophia asked with a smile, knowingly asking.

The four women finally noticed a woman sitting in the corner.

"Let's teach the new secretary a lesson," one of them spoke up.

"Shh, what are you saying?" Another person quickly spoke up to smooth things over, looking at Sophia in the corner with a warning and a threat. "No matter which department you're from, forget what you just heard. Otherwise, once I find out which department you're from, you won't be able to work at Miller Family again."

The tea room was crowded, so Sophia knew they hadn't thought about her identity.

It was these women who looked beautiful but were as venomous as snakes.

"Intentionally hurting someone is against the law," she ignored their threats.

"So what?" One person sneered disdainfully. "This is the Miller Family."

"At the Miller Family, you can just be inhuman, never seen a human before, and you're already hurting and killing people?" Sophia's smile widened on her face. "Is that how your parents taught you?"

"Who do you think you are?" The accused women glared fiercely at Sophia upon hearing her words. "Where did this uncivilized thing come from? How dare you talk about us? Get lost, or we'll make you regret it."

Sophia raised her hand and threw the coffee in her hand directly at the face of the woman who was cursing at her.

"Ah..." The woman screamed in pain from the scalding hot coffee.

"How dare you throw coffee at me?" The woman angrily raised her hand towards Sophia. "I am the supervisor. How dare you act so recklessly in front of me? I'll make sure you regret it!"

"Smack, smack!" Sophia took the initiative and slapped the woman who was about to hit her.

"You... how dare you hit me..."

"I hit you because I wanted to. I don't need to choose a day." Sophia's eyes were cold, and her aura was strong.

"Who... who are you? How dare you hit someone?" The people around were too scared to act and angrily questioned Sophia.
