Chapter Thirty- The Search for Zara
Hunter's POV
I paced through the castle halls, frustration clawing at my chest. It had been days—too many days. And still, no sign of Zara.
"Where the hell is she?" Ravager snarled inside me, his voice edged with barely contained fury.
"I don't know," I admitted, grinding my teeth.
"Find her. Now." He growls loudly.
I turned a corner, my footsteps heavy, deliberate—and then I saw him.
Lior.
He walked toward me with that same lazy confidence, his smirk widening as our eyes met.
My pulse spiked. Something about the way he looked at me—too amused, too calm—made my gut twist.
He knew something. I could feel it.
Lior stopped just a few feet away, tilting his head in mock curiosity.
"Why do you look so pale, Alpha?" he mused. "You look like you've seen a ghost."
My jaw tightened. As my anger was already getting the best out of me.
