I knew that it was extremely difficult to heal a damaged Qi sea especially one damaged by void energy, what's more this was lower world. However I didn't give up and opened up a shop to try and source materials,
I even tried to manufacture some low level spiritual weapons but ended up attracting the local sect's attention so I had to stop. if a sufficiently strong cultivator probed me they might notice something, after meeting setback after setback and thinking of the odds of going against my sect I felt my heart die.
You rascal didn't give up and had clearly put in a lot of effort to obtain my heart" she said as she glared at Wu Zemin again who only smiled sheepishly with a proud look, making her huff in annoyance.
"it weakened my resolve to find a cure and I decided that since my cultivation path had been cut off I would get married and build a family." Reaching that point she stopped and looked at her husband and son and caressed her belly.
"I thought that my life would be like this but who would 've thought that on that fateful day, I would stumble into Tianer. He seemed to providence compensating me for taking my son."
Wu Tian didn't really understand, after all he still didn't know the exact process where children were gotten. He listened attentively as Lin Qing continued
"I thought maybe I would teach Tianer and the kids and send them to the sect but who would've thought there was actually hope now. "
she then proceeded to tell Wu Zemin about the mystical energy Wu Tian had on his body, leaving him once again amazed at the little guy. Though this only made Wu Zemin more worried. Lin Qing seeing this smiled and reassured him.
"That was my past, and you are now my life. I wouldn't abandon my family for anything even if I am healed. in fact I should start teaching those rascals about cultivation, and you too. I want us to cultivate and be together for a long time."
She said as she clasped his hand. Wu Zemin was relieved, the stone pressing on his heart dropping like a load. But he didn't know the internal turmoil that had rocked Lin Qing's heart before she made her decision, and now that she had she was determined to stick to it.
The following day, the kids were surprised when they noticed that instead of the normal lessons they were called into a room by Lin Qing, some of them were still too young to cultivate but the knowledge would still be of benefit to them when they reached that age.
In there Lin Qing introduced them to the world of cultivation, she made sure that their foundational knowledge was solid and they knew about the body and how it interacted with spirit qi.
A month quickly went by, Lin Qing watched with a satisfied expression as little Qier answered a question she had given her; she was heartened to see how smart the kids were. To her they seemed like mini versions of Wu Tian, extremely bright and cheeky. She reckoned that in another month or two they would be ready to try sensing Qi and start cultivation.
Normally cultivation actually began when one was eight years old in the big sects since at that age one was conscious and knowledgeable enough not to hurt themselves. Some prodigies could begin even earlier while others even began when they were fifteen or sixteen.
Cultivation was not a trivial task; any mistake in circulating qi could lead to extremely serious effects. There were no few incidents of cultivators screwing up their circulation only to end up dead. Thus it was extremely important that one be at a sufficient point in maturity.
Wu Tian too had a serious expression on his face, even while learning about cultivation he had not stopped practicing martial arts.
In the past month had been able to open up another meridian and gotten another wisp of eternal energy but when he tried to give it to the baby nothing had happened. He thought that perhaps the first time was an accident.
Suddenly he was startled as he felt everyone's attention turn to him. He looked up and was surprised to see his mom looking at him amused.
"Distracted again in class young man? Pay attention this is important." He ducked his head sheepishly when he felt the other kids look at him teasingly. He paid strict attention as for the umpteenth time his mom reminded them about the cultivation realms.
"All cultivators absorb and thrive on the spiritual energy in the atmosphere, and the stronger you get the more dependent you get on it.
The cultivation levels are the qi gathering stage, the foundation establishment stage, the golden core stage, the nascent soul stage, soul formation, soul transformation, body integration, void tribulation and mahayana. In the qi gathering stage you learn to sense qi and introduce it your body, it improves your body and level of life and marks the beginning of the cultivation journey.
After this is the foundation establishment stage where you establish a foundation. After this .." Lin Qing paused and looked at the kids, "you rascals haven't yet began cultivation so you shouldn't care too much about the golden core stage." Sensing the lesson was coming to an end they all perked up and Lin Qing laughing allowed them to go and play.
After the lesson, Wu Tian wore a ruminative expression, "I wonder what I should do about the martial arts am practicing."
He knew that compared to cultivation, martial arts were too undeveloped and weak, but he had a feeling that as long as he had enough time he could continuously excavate new realms in the martial arts realm and one day bridge a new path. However, that would also be putting in twice the effort for half the reward since the cultivation path was easier and developed
Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months, Wu Tian was coaxing the last part of the blockage in one of his main meridians; he had managed to unblock four of them, one for each month.
As he opened his eyes he and swung his fist. Immediately, a gust of wind rose in its wake, leaving him ecstatic. Every meridian he unsealed and strengthened with qi would greatly increase his physical strength; however he also had a sense that there was something amiss with the martial path.
