"When she announced the cancellation of the engagement, she probably wasn't drunk, Mr. Sterling. Don't fool yourself. You must have heard what I said earlier. Are you really comfortable impersonating the role of a life-saving benefactor?"
Young Master Sterling's face turned pale, his eyes filled with hatred, but he couldn't utter a single word.
"Excuse me, I need to use the restroom," I said, deciding to quit while I was ahead and find my own way out this time.
You can't always rely on others, after all.
Young Master Sterling suddenly stood up and blocked my path.
In front of everyone in the restaurant, he pulled off the blanket from my wheelchair and forcibly lifted my clothes, despite my resistance, to see something on my inner waist that satisfied him.
"What restroom? There's urine in your catheter bag. Looks like you really are incontinent," he feigned surprise. "So you weren't lying after all!"
Whispers and murmurs spread throughout the restaurant.
