"Mr. Winters, are you certain you want to donate your heart to Miss Seraphina Stone?"
The doctor looked up in surprise, attempting to dissuade me.
"Although you have late-stage stomach cancer, there have been successful treatment cases domestically. You might want to consider trying treatment..."
"That won't be necessary," I interrupted her with a smile. "Dying is fine, especially since donating my organs can save lives. It's my only wish."
Just as I walked out of the hospital, Seraphina called.
"Where the hell have you been? Get back here now!"
I was actually planning to return and ask Seraphina for some money to buy myself a burial shroud and a grave plot.
But when I got home, I discovered her childhood sweetheart Liam holding her as she straddled his lap, their posture intimate and inseparable.
Seeing me push open the door, they both froze.
Liam's face flushed red as he chided her for calling me back at this moment.
"We're out of condoms," Seraphina explained, hugging him reassuringly.
The next second, her cold gaze fell on me as she smirked and said:
"Dashiell, go downstairs and buy us a box."
