This time, it wasn't me who attacked first, but my opponent. His pet abruptly made a dash forwards, pouncing at me, however I sharply moved out of his way with water magic. wouldn't say I was in the best place to fight.

I can't use half of my abilities here, and my maximum power comes from water magic. And I can't use fire or magma because I'm just driving myself into the water.

And I'm not sure I'm going to be able to break through this thing. So what do I do in this situation? The best way would be to get rid of the rider first, and then calm the fish down. Without control, it will act dumber and I can either tackle it or run away.

I create ice spears that rush into the rider. This makes the water a bit colder, but I've been making the water a bit warmer since the beginning of my swim, so now I'm just heating up the water a bit more.

But when I saw the new arrival, I realised I didn't need to kill him. And the new arrival is Aquaman, or Arthur Curry, King of Atlantis himself.

Deciding to trust the superhero, I sharply approach the creature and strike it in that part of the armour, just shattering it. It was surprisingly fragile, though that's understandable if it really is a control chip.

After that, the fish calmed down a bit and started looking at Aquaman strangely, and he just stared back at it. Kind of like that one can telepathically communicate with any sea creatures. So now he should be just about negotiating with her.

After a few more seconds, the huge fish swam back into the cave, and Arthur stared at me. I gestured him to swim upstairs, because I couldn't talk here.

He understood me and started to swim up. I accelerated sharply and literally burst out of the water, standing on the water surface. Heh, I wonder if I can be considered Jesus now. Although I'm only standing like this because of my control over the water. What's interesting is that I can control the four elements even without the movements that the original mages required.
