Chapter 4.

As there car pulled up at the building, Jenny stepped down with her parents and walked into the office. After few hours of waiting, another car pulled up at the drive way. A well dressed man came down from the car. As he made his way to the office with some files in his hands.

" Miss Jenny Anderson?" He called.

" Yes?" Jenny replied, but something about him told her that he wasn't Richard.

" I'm Cheng Heng, Mr Richard Logard's PA. He sent me here to represent him because he couldn't make it here today, he had an important meeting to attend to." Cheng explained, as Jenny's face turned pale.

" Who in the world will send his assistant to represent him on his wedding day" Emma asked, getting annoyed.

" Richard Logard" Jenny answered, feeling depressed. How can he ignore her like that? She know that it's an arranged marriage or rather forced marriage but he should at least respect her. Jenny bit her lower lips fighting back her tears.

Emma saw this and smirked but masked it up with a fake sympathy instantly.

" He must be busy, that's why he couldn't make. Don't take it to heart please" Emma said gently, rubbing her back.

" Can we proceed?" Cheng asked getting tired of the family drama.

" Yes" Jenny replied with a broken voice.

" Just signed this there and the registrar will will sign in this collum, then we are done" Cheng said showing them the documents in his hands.

Jenny looked at it with disbelief. 

" He signed it already?" She asked with a surprised tune.

" Yes. And after this, you will coming with me to his mansion" He added.

" I know" Emma quickly replied, like she has been waiting for that question a long time ago.

Jenny slowly signed the document papers and passed it to the registrar who hasn't said since they arrived. He signed the document too and handed it back to Cheng, who collected and turned to leave the place.

" Miss Jenny, it's time to go" Cheng announced walking out on them.

" So rude. Humph" Emma scoffed, before hugging Jenny.

" Be well my child. I will keep calling you dear" Robert said emotionally, before hugging her too. Jenny held back her tears and walked out following Cheng to the car.

Jenny climbed into the backseat of the car, and Cheng started driving. As they pulled away from the house, Jenny looked out the window, watching as her parents became smaller and smaller. Tears began to well up in her eyes, and she couldn't stop them from falling down her cheeks. She missed her parents already, and she knew it would be hard to be so far away from them. But she knew that she had to be brave, and she wiped away her tears.

As Jenny and Cheng pulled up to the massive mansion, she gasped at the sight of the enormous home. The front of the house was decorated with elegant landscaping, and the stone exterior was impressive. As they got out of the car, she saw a sign that read "RICHARD LOGARD" in bold letters. The housekeeper greeted them, and she led Jenny inside. Jenny was struck by the grandeur of the foyer, which was filled with expensive artwork and expensive furniture. The housekeeper took her to her room, and explained that she was there to help her with anything she needed.

Jenny's room was huge, with a king-sized bed and a private bathroom. The furniture was all designer, and the room had a stunning view of the pool and the ocean. It was clear that Richard had spared no expense in creating this space. The housekeeper left her alone to unpack, and Jenny sat on the bed, overwhelmed by her surroundings. She had never imagined that she would be living in such luxury, and she felt both grateful and a little intimidated. A few minutes later, Cheng knocked on the door and let himself in.

"I'm sorry to step into your room like this," Cheng said, "but I need to get back to the office. I have some work to do. But if you need anything, please don't hesitate to call me. I'll be available whenever you need me." Jenny nodded.

 "Thank you, I really appreciate that. I'll let you get back to work." Jenny said. Cheng stood up and gave Jenny a friendly smile. 

"It's no trouble at all, I'll see you around." And with that, he left the room, leaving Jenny alone with her thoughts.

LTM AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY

Cheng pulled into the parking lot of LTM Automobile Industry, a multinational corporation that manufactured automobiles. As he parked his car, he took a moment to appreciate the sheer size of the company. The campus was enormous, with multiple buildings and acres of land. It was the largest automobile manufacturer in the world, and Cheng was proud to be a part of it. He got out of his car and made his way to the main building, ready to start his workday.

He walked into his office. Cheng sat down, ready to tackle the work load left for him when his intercom buzzed.

" To my office now" A deep cold voice ordered from the other line.

" Yes boss" he replied and dropped the call. He left his office straight to his boss's office.

As Cheng looked into the office, he saw Mr. Logard sitting behind a large, mahogany desk. The office was impeccably decorated, with expensive furniture and artwork on the walls. But none of that mattered right now. What mattered was Mr. Logard's face, which was cold and unreadable. Mr. Logard was known for his stern demeanor and ruthless business tactics, and Cheng had always known him like this that's why no woman will want to marry him.

" You called for me" he said calling his attention

" Reports" Richard ordered with his eyes not leaving his system.

" The marriage is done and she's currently in the white house. But I noticed something about her family" Cheng explained.

" What?" He asked, finally looking up. His amber eyes were cold and void of emotions.
