Chapter 27: The Intense Firefight

After chasing along the passage on the left for a while, Hawk found that this passage was a dead - end. He secretly cursed in his heart and immediately turned back, hoping to find Irene.

When he returned to the place where they had separated, he heard Irene's shouts. He ran in the direction of the sound and found the trap. He leaned over the trap entrance and shouted, "Irene, how are you?"

Hawk looked around for tools that could be used to rescue Irene. Just then, he saw the mysterious shadow appear again. The shadow held a gun in his hand and fired at Hawk. Hawk quickly dodged to the side and took out his own gun to fight back.

The two sides engaged in an intense firefight in the passage. Bullets sparked off the walls, and the passage was filled with the smell of gunpowder. Relying on his combat experience, Hawk skillfully evaded the shadow's attacks while looking for opportunities to counter - attack.

Suddenly, Hawk noticed that the shadow had run out of bullets. He took the opportunity to rush forward and engage the shadow in close - combat. The two wrestled in the narrow passage.
