Emily's eyes widened in shock as she stared at the message on the paper. A mole? Someone on the inside was working against them?
Jack's expression was grim as he quickly scanned the area, his eyes searching for any signs of surveillance. "We need to get out of here, now," he said, his voice low and urgent.
Emily nodded, still trying to process the revelation. She quickly followed Jack as he led her away from the quarters, his eyes constantly scanning the surroundings.
As they walked, Emily's mind was racing. Who could the mole be? Was it someone they had trusted? Someone they had worked with?
Jack seemed to sense her unease. "We'll figure it out, Emily," he said, his voice reassuring. "We'll find out who the mole is and we'll stop them."
But Emily couldn't shake the feeling of unease. She felt like she was walking on eggshells, never knowing who to trust.
As they arrived at a secure location, Director Thompson was waiting for them, her expression grim. "We've been compromised," she said, her voice firm. "We need to assume that the mole has access to all our operations."
Emily's eyes widened in shock. This was worse than she had thought.
Director Thompson turned to Jack. "I need you to investigate and find out who the mole is," she said. "We can't afford to have a traitor in our midst."
Jack nodded, his expression determined. "I'll find out who it is," he said. "And I'll make sure they pay for what they've done."
As Jack set off to investigate, Emily couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Who was the mole? And what would happen when they were caught?
But as she looked at Jack, she knew that she could trust him. He would find out who the mole was and he would stop them.
And Emily would be right by his side, ready to face whatever lay ahead.
