The days were filled with happiness and peace, until one fateful day when the Vampire Kingdom attacked the Fox Spirit Kingdom. It was a time of joy and calm, but that all changed in an instant.
The blue moon suddenly turned red, like it was stained with blood. The vampire soldiers began their attack on the peaceful fox spirits, causing panic and destruction.
Rei and the other powerful fox spirits quickly took to the skies, casting protective magic barriers to shield their people. Rei grabbed my hand and lifted me into the air, making sure I was safe.
"Stay behind me," Rei warned, his voice steady.
I watched below as the vampire soldiers attacked the helpless fox spirits, especially the elderly and the children. My heart ached seeing the violence, and I knew I had to help.
I asked Rei, "Can I have a sword?"
Without thinking, Rei handed me a sword. He had no idea what I would do next.
Suddenly, I jumped from the air, determined to help the weak fox spirits. I fought bravely, slashing through the vampires that were attacking the defenseless. Rei watched me from above, a proud smile on his face as he saw my courage.
But then, something terrible happened. A crushing pressure filled the air, and I felt my body forced to kneel. The vampire soldiers suddenly stopped fighting and started cheering. They were honoring their king.
"The King has arrived to help us!" they shouted.
I looked up and saw a figure standing above us, his presence so powerful that it felt like the air itself was pressing down on us. The vampire king, Leon, had arrived.
I couldn't help but compare him to Rei. He was just as handsome, but there was something darker about him.
Rei and the other powerful fox spirits were still fighting in the air, but I was struggling to stand under the pressure of Leon's magic.
"Who is he? Why is he so strong?" I whispered to the nearby fox spirits.
One of them answered, "That's King Leon, the Vampire King."
I muttered to myself, "I see. His strength is unbelievable. Ordinary creatures like us have no chance against him."
The battle continued above, but Leon only watched, supporting his soldiers from the back. It wasn't clear who would win, but I knew the vampire king was too strong.
Suddenly, Leon looked down at me. I met his gaze, and before I could react, he appeared in front of me, his presence so overwhelming that I could barely breathe.
He stared at me with surprise and curiosity. He gently raised my chin, forcing me to look at him.
"I knew it. You've returned," he said with a smile.
The pressure around me increased, making it impossible for me to move. Our faces were so close that I could feel his breath on my skin.
Before anything could happen, Rei threw his sword at Leon, forcing him to jump back and protect me.
"Leon, don't touch her!" Rei shouted, his voice full of anger.
Leon laughed darkly. "As expected, you've hidden her well. If I hadn't attacked today, I never would have found her again."
The two men were locked in an intense battle, their swords clashing fiercely in the air. Leon's power was strong, but Rei wouldn't give up.
"Why?? Do you want to hide her and lock her in your kingdom?? Do you want to make the same tragedy from 600 years ago happen again?" Leon asked with a wicked smile.
Rei didn't answer. He was focused on the battle, unwilling to let Leon win.
The fight raged on, but in the end, the two were evenly matched, and their battle ended in a draw.
Leon, however, had something else in mind. He turned to his soldiers and whispered, his voice low and commanding, "Take the girl with us while Rei and I fight. He won't notice."
Before I could react, the vampire soldiers quickly covered my mouth, tied my hands, and opened a teleportation portal.
I tried to fight back, but it was no use. Rei was still focused on his battle, not realizing what was happening.
As the vampire clan began to retreat, Leon smirked and said, "Goodbye, Rei."
Rei turned around just in time to see me disappear. The vampire clan had already teleported away, and I was gone.
Rei stood there, helpless, as the Vampire King and his soldiers took me away. The battle was over, and now I was in the hands of the vampires.
