Chapter 43: Arrival 2
Mina stomped her feet in anger, she found a quite corner before making her long awaited call, the phone didn't even ring for the second time when they picked up, it was like they were hovering around the phone waiting for the call and they actually were. Mina had to give them the probs they had to use for this big operation, they didn't know the full detail even though mina told them it was a prank on someone that stole from her they knew it wasn't, the last time they had to do a prank they had robbed her highschool bully's house and tied the girl up, they didn't hurt her but she definitely will have that PTSD for life so they knew they were in for something bad again but they just have to close they're eyes and get it over with. Charles one of the guys haven't seen his daughter for 6 years and he finally wanted to let everything go and be a dad to his daughter.
"Hello" they whispered when they received the call, mina didn't waste time on formalities or pleasantries she immediately gave them the location where to meet and cut the call. These men were not worth her time, they cloud themselves as the good guys doing bad things with no choice, she hated hypocrites she was bad and she owned up to it and she never forces anybody in to anything, she gives you the condition and you see what to do with it, she was one hell of a pretender and she owned up to that aswell. She had to learn from now since she wanted to get into acting. After a few minutes she saw the three men walking towards her
"Hello" they greeted hands clasp with each other
"The storage room, locker 605" she informed getting up,
"Do you remember your lines" she asked and the men nodded satisfied she smiled before walking away, the men too turned back and walked into the locker room where mina had kept the probs. When they arrived and opened it up they were stunned the clothes were for like middle aged woman what type of prank was this, maybe for once it's actually a prank. Charles was the first one to pull out the bag that has this name. The others turned to watch him as he opened it up and pulled out a short wig, red lipstick and a long dress with an apron, his mates did thesame too, the first guy found a whip, a hair brush and a short wig too with a note explaining what he had to do, the guys got closer as they read it
"Don't touch her, just put the whip next to her and pretend to comb her hair" they sighed as the next guy pulled out his stuff it was a full glown set, even in this moment of distress they couldn't hold there laughter seeing the ridiculous outfits
"Just stand close to her motionless wearing the costume get closer everytime she moves don't touch her" she repeated in the other note aswell, was she being sympathic in all this evilness or she had her sinister reasons behind it to the note he had in his bag read, since everyone had notes Charles checked his bag again and found the piece of paper down
"Say these phrases 'baby' 'brat' 'behave' 'i'll kill you' 'your evil' 'sweetheart' 'shh'" then under the note it said to put all the papers back in the locker and leave and the guys did exactly that
"I'll be right behind you guys" Charles said and the two men nodding stepping out, in that moment he had an Adeline rush to do something the instant the men left, he rummaged through the whole place until he found a book and a pen, it was a sales book but he didn't mind, he copied thesame words and kept the original in his pocket and left the new copied note in the locker, he hoped and prayed with everything in him for mina not to notice the switch because if she did that would be his end.
"What I'm i even doing" he asked himself, he was about to put back the original note but his friends rushed in dragging him out, someone was coming to the storage room, they had to leave before someone would find them, them being wanted criminals didn't make it better just like that the note he was supposed to keep in the locker and for mina to collect to burn and leave no evidence behind was in his pocket, neatly folded.
Seth and Ethan finally arrived at the venue
"What? you want to sleep in my car" Ethan asked when he noticed seth still comfortably sitting in his car even though they already arrived, Seth didn't say anything except chuckle and ethan sighed was it safe to trust jian to this guy, he locked his car door after collecting his gifts and they walked in
"Finally" chole waved her hands when ethan walked in the guy have been gone for more than hour now
"Hey" Seth said and chole greeted back before going back to the introductions after sharing pleasantries with everyone he walked towards Fiona who was looking at something absent-mindedly
"What you looking at" he asked startling the poor girl, when she stood up he noticed she was staring at a baby fish tank
"Seth" she grumbled with a frown hand over her chest but seth only laughed at her reaction prompting a hard hit to his chest, mina saw this interaction and grew even more mad all seth did was smile and wave at her, it was better than the nods of acknowledgment she gave the others she felt a bit special until he saw him with Fiona
'its excepted they're best friends' she inwardly consoled her self that explanation made her feel way better. Now that everyone was there and Stephanie was just a minute or two away and chole confirmed jian was on her way, the final touches were being made at the party room so was it at the yellow room too.
