Building Rapport

Due to the discussion and their limited time in the bunker, the once cold companions were now willing to break the ice.

"We can start this off with me, since it seems like everyone's willing to try now." Isaac began. "I've been observing everyone and all of our abilities over the past few days. As you've seen in the training rooms, I can convert stone and wood into structures. These structures can be used for our base. I can also produce units from these buildings, they appear to be similar to Mr. Antonyo's summons, though the requirements for my own summoned units is time. The quality difference is quite noticeable."

"That's housing taken care of on one end." Travis, the leader of the Bechnitz chimed in. "We'll need a stable source of food and water for when we do get outside."

"That won't be a problem, the random summoning ability of Sir Antonyo. Livestock and even grain, his summons are not limited to combat units. So long as he has a bit of gold or copper he can produce these resources." Isaac answered. "As for water, Lady Vanitha is capable of calling storms and manipulating the elements. If we don't find a natural water source then she can help in this."

"You've thought of everything, huh?" Orion, the leader of the Terrans. "My group can contribute in providing lighting and an energy source through a reactor or simply sonar panels. With all of our talents combined, creating a city in this fallen reality is not a pipe dream."

"Indeed, that's what I'm trying to say here. I know that grouping up might not be everyone's cup of tea but there's a lot of potential in working together." Isaac needed to get the necessary pieces on his side. "Our time here is limited, the guide has also said that he'll provide us with starting gear and some necessities."

"If any of you wish to help the survivors outside then providing a fortified city doesn't sound like a bad idea, does it?"

Their discussion would last for an hour more as those who were willing decided to contribute and speak their minds. This was the first step into building up a good relationship with the rest of their batch. A few figures took charge and from there training became much smoother.

While most of the group is generally on good to great terms with one another, there are always a few bad eggs or simply just stragglers who are out to do their own thing. These figures were Gristlethum, who appears to wholly dislike the concept of humans and allying with them and the ever stoic Aarthamion.

The sword-wielding Aarthamion had little to no care for the survivors above ground, he only cares about the conversations when it involves him and the threats outside. This of course is only from the observations of Isaac, who has listed both Aarthamion and Gristlethum to be non-factors for his plans when they get outside.

Isaac's focus was on how he planned on building his city. "Building List." He called out as the window appeared in front of him.

The benefit of having a system that was created specifically for him was that it was highly customizable. What was once a list of buildings that was in alphabetic order, were now classified under building types. These buildings are upgradeable and as far as he's concerned once a building is finished they will stay up unless destroyed. "Upgrades cost a lot and my inventory can only take so much. I can worry about the magic crystals and a magic orb at a later time."

Next to him, as Isaac is jotting things down in his notebook is Orion. "We can't really plan out a floor plan just yet for this base due to the random location that the guide will send us to."

"Yes, I know this already. I just want to see what I can come up with for when we do get to the surface." Isaac held his forehead against his palm as he looked back at the four-armed man. "We only have a week left and Lady Vanitha, while more friendly than before… has no interest in our plans."

"Ahh that's what has you stressed, I suggest not worrying too much. We have enough firepower on our side. The Locals from Bechnitz are powerful, if they keep their promise then even with the growing pains, this base that you're planning on building should go about smoothly."

Isaac, despite being from a reality with lesser technology, was someone that Orion saw as an equal. At least in the matter of intelligence, in terms of practical knowledge and overall abilities Orion knew that Isaac was far beneath him. Despite all of this, he respects the fact that Isaac was aware enough to at least try with creating an alliance. "We have less than a week, I can assure you that my fellow Terrans will be following this plan. You have most of us at your disposal, being aware of our enemies is one thing and being paranoid is another."

"Yeah, you're right. I should just take note of what I can do instead of worrying about everything else. I, I needed that." He waved away the screens as he pulled up his status screen. "As the most human among all of us, the weakest in terms of physical abilities… I guess you can say that I'm a bit nervous."

"Hell, I think the only one with combat experience from my reality is Sir Antonyo who used to be a general."

At the time, Isaac made the biggest mistake that he could make. He showed weakness, to those that have seen war. It was at that point, where Orion decided to take charge and get everyone else on his side. This one mistake would throw all of Isaac's plans into disarray.
