Vikram's Alliance I

Vanitha, due to her seniority in both age and magical prowess, is a valuable asset to the alliance. Usually those with her abilities are immediately scouted into the ranks of Lukthamun and his kin. Those from Verund are often either on the side of the dragons or those who seek to rejuvenate the royal bloodline. Placing her as a member of Vikram's council was not a hard decision to make.

Vikram's round table consists of a total of 12 individuals, with Vikram rounding out the group as the 13th member and main leader of the Alliance. Vikram's council consists mostly of locals from Bechnitz and Terra. In the council, Five were from Bechnitz, Three were Terran, Two earthlings and two from Verund.

"We have updates regarding the Dragon's Alliance. According to my sources their newest encounter involves a Tree of Life." The other member from Verund, a dragon that has currently taken the shape of a human named Sullivan. There were a mix of reactions due to how uninformed most of them are as to what this meant.

"To those who are unaware, it is a source of power and life energy that actively cleanses the air of black mana. With a single one capable of creating a safe space that demons and creatures of darkness would love to take care of. Needless to say, it would benefit us greatly to come in contact with the main caretaker of this tree." He then pulled up a hologram of the island which shows the tree and the fortifications that the Dragon's Alliance has added to the area.

"Do we really need to help them then?" A bald man wearing a lab coat from Terra asked, clearly not caring about the situation. "If anything knowing that the Dragons are backing them, then it simply means that we can focus our attention elsewhere."

"Indeed! I say we refocus our efforts on the areas affected by the Jitaxans!" Another from Terra chimed in. "I say we nuke the Jitaxans, What's stopping us? Jitax himself is gone and the Dragons don't care about the damage! We'll prevent a big threat before they can consume any more of the lifeforms on the ground!"

Vikram, the ever imposing superhero. One of the strongest predecessors of Travis, put each decision they made up to a vote. A vote in which he could veto the result due to his authority. The discussions would only last a few hours with a multitude of large decisions made.

"With a vote of 8 to 4, Nuking the islands with the Jitaxans has been approved."

"Those who wish to visit and aid the Tree of Life will have to give me their reasons for doing so, I will not be forcing anyone off of this decision. All I ask is for none of you to cause any trouble with the Dragon's Alliance." Vikram, despite his confidence in his own abilities, was sure that a fight with them would only end in a loss.

Vikram's council, in reality, only had 7 members present physically while the others are all over the realm focusing on their own goals and missions.

Vanitha's curiosity would get the better of her as the meeting came to a close. She had to know more about the Tree of Life, which is why she followed the dragon, Sullivan and stopped him in his tracks. "May I have a moment of your time?"

"I have a few minutes to spare, ask away madam." Sullivan guided her to his garden, a personal space that was set up for him. Each council member had a similar space allocated for them. The blue-scaled dragon's eyes were an energetic shade of yellow.

"It is regarding the Tree of Life, is the appearance of one in this realm such a rare occurrence?" To her, a tree of life was a necessity. Something that all realms should have access to.

"Not a single trace of a Tree of Life was present when the first generation arrived 300 years ago." The dragon began, his eyes glowing as he did so. "This realm was a wasteland, one that was far more dangerous than it is now. The dark mana in the air was so toxic that corrupted beasts were far more common than animals."

"A fallen plane…" She could only shudder at the thought.

"Indeed, the only reason that the realm is somewhat recovering is due to the appearance of our kin. 12 Heroes once every year, we saved the locals and with all of the dragons and magical beings that appeared we have taken care of the major sources of dark mana in the realm." Sullivan closed his eyes. "I already received approval, I trust Lukthamun and his group but I need to witness it myself."

Grandpa Tony's surgery was a massive success. Welcoming him out of the procedure were his summons along with Maja, Clementine and Juno. The old man is the most well respected member in their group. To the point where both Travis and Vincent actually apologised for not being present when the procedure ended.

Out of the 9 members that joined the alliance, Antonyo is one of the most useful hires. Comparable to the hero Travis and the newest member of the council, Vanitha. He could provide troops as well as useful individuals in different facets. Among his current summons, the 5-stars are comparable to any of the more powerful members of Vikram's Alliance, while his 4-Stars are elite units capable of helping those in the frontlines against the demons or any other threat that the alliance might face.

Antonyo's relevance would also matter in terms of leading, as a retired general his strategic mind and experience made him an ideal member.

"Noctis is alive, then the boy must be doing well." Antonyo sat on the porch of the house that the alliance provided for him. Most of his summons have been deployed by the alliance while he keeps a total of four or five with him at all times. The life of a once adventurous man was now a tame one despite his current role.

At a glance, one would wonder as to why he was chosen in the first place. But for Antonyo who just received a new lease on life, the cover of being a friendly old man that was happy to help was all he needed. 'Defenseless, not at all. Seemingly harmless despite my background… this is what I need to be.'

From the moment Antonyo stepped into the Alliance's territory he has been spreading small insect-like drones in the area. The only time where he actually went dark on information was when he had to go through surgery or when he had to sleep, but even during that time his summons were already serving the alliance but were acting as his informants.

Antonyo only retired from the Military due to his ailments and failing body, but the mind of a combatant, a soldier who has limited information on the world. 'In the end I will fulfill the mission that was handed to me, but for now I need to learn more… figure out how I can upgrade myself further either with magic or with this technology that they have available.'

"Grandpa Tony!" Aris shouted out excitedly as he ran to the porch. Tony's first visitors of the day have arrived. The metal-legged boy, Aris, along with the medic Clementine and the doctor Miss Juno.

"It's great to see you lad." The old man accepted hugs from both the boy and Clementine. "You too little lady."

A nod of acknowledgement was enough for Juno as the group entered his humble abode. His summons prepared a whole variety of meals as well as an assortment of drinks that were once available from earth.

"Travis and Vincent are still out on their mission, but I was told that they'll be here at around 3 in the afternoon." Clementine noted as she took her seat.

"That's quite all right, I'm just happy that everyone could make it!"

With Orion off to prove himself and the rest of the group seemingly abandoning his cause, the new leader of their small pack was none other than Antonyo. It has come to a point where even Maja and the elusive Vanitha are taking proactive roles in their group, either by procuring dishes from their original realities or through simply partaking in the casual conversations held at the old man's table.
