The Armoured Gorilla

Conrad and Dante stared at the absolute behemoth of a gorilla in shock. The Armoured Gorilla, a monstrosity of muscle and metal, loomed before them. Its body was encased in thick, jagged armor, spiked gauntlets capable of crushing bone with a single blow, an iron helmet, and a double-edged sword strapped to its back. The massive creature's eyes burned with ferocity, and its breath came in hot, heavy bursts.

On top of the gorilla, two soldiers clutched chains weighted with iron balls, swinging them back and forth with menacing intent. Their eyes locked onto Conrad and Dante, ready to strike at any moment.

"This... is gonna be a problem," Dante muttered, his fingers tightening around the hilt of his blade.

Conrad's eyes narrowed. "We'll take it down the same way we've handled everything else—strategy and precision."

But Dante wasn't so sure. This was different. The gorilla's sheer size, combined with the added threat of the soldiers, made this an entirely new level of challenge. It was all about finding weaknesses now—the gaps in its armor, its coordination, its blind spots.

"We need to isolate the soldiers first," Dante said, analyzing their movements. "Once they're out of the picture, the beast becomes a lot more manageable."

Conrad nodded, his gaze sharp. "Right. But it won't be easy with that thing swinging its sword around. We need to move fast."

Before either could make a move, the Armoured Gorilla let out a deafening roar, stomping the ground with such force that the earth trembled beneath their feet. The two soldiers on its back swung their chains in unison, aiming for Dante. One of them clipped his shoulder as he ducked, but he wasn't deterred.

"Focus on the gorilla first, I'll handle the chains!" Dante yelled, charging forward.

Conrad was quick to follow, but they both knew it wouldn't be simple. Every step was a calculated risk—either they outsmarted the beast or they would be crushed under its might.

Conrad ran in the opposite direction of Dante, drawing the ape's attention to himself, so Dante could focus on the soldiers on its back.

Dante flanked, attempting to strike at the men, but he couldn't reach in time and had to parry one of the chains, backflipping away from the other.

Formulating a plan in his mind, Dante acted without hesitation. He charged with his sword behind his back. As the men swung at him, Dante dodged one chain and, using sheer strength, yanked the other chain toward him, pulling one of the soldiers off the gorilla's back.

Mid-air, the man took a brutal kick to the chest, crashing hard to the ground. Dante made sure to stomp down, confirming he was knocked out cold. With a swift motion, Dante sheathed his sword, grabbed the chain, and swung it at the gorilla's leg, causing it to collapse and sending the other soldier tumbling off.

Conrad moved quickly, snatching the chain from the fallen soldier and swinging it with precision, knocking out several others with a single blow. There were a few remaining soldiers on the ground, but Conrad, with a single swing of the weighted chains, dispatched them in rapid succession—fifteen enemies incapacitated in one go.

Now, it was just Dante and Conrad against the giant Armoured Gorilla.

The gorilla slowly rose to its feet, its massive form towering over the battlefield. It raised its double-edged sword high and, now fully focused on its targets, charged at the duo.

However, Conrad had already laid the chains on the ground, setting a trap. As the gorilla charged, it tripped on the chains, stumbling forward.

Seizing the opportunity, Dante grabbed the chains and swung them around the gorilla's ankles, binding them tightly. The beast struggled, but its movements were slowed, and it was forced to the ground with a heavy thud.

With the gorilla now vulnerable, Dante saw his chance. He targeted the weak spots in its armor—the gaps between the plating—and struck at its exposed neck. The blow barely left a mark.

As Dante was about to fall back, his sword got stuck between the gorilla's armored plates. Struggling to free it, he was suddenly met with the gorilla's double-edged sword, which it swung at Dante with terrifying speed.

Dante barely managed to dodge the attack, but the force sent him flying. He crashed to the ground with a deep gash on his leg.

"Tch, he got me good there," Dante muttered, pressing against the wound. "I can still fight. It's fine."

Dante rose, clutching the chains in place of his sword, now wedged between the monster's armor.

Conrad, also wielding the chains, recalled the land mines from earlier. A plan formed in his mind, and he quickly whispered it to Dante.

Both of them smirked, their eyes filled with determination. They were ready to continue the fight, knowing they had only one chance left to bring down this massive beast...
