"S-should we go in?" Min-ji asked.
"Probably." I replied with nonchalance.
Min-ji nodded hesitantly, her eyes fixed on the hospital building. "O-okay... let's go."
I led the way, my eyes searching the surrounding area for any signs of danger. The streets were eerily quiet, littered with abandoned cars. We walked in silence, our footsteps echoing off the buildings.
As we approached the hospital, I noticed that the entrance was slightly ajar.
'I have to be cautious...'
"Stay close," I whispered, pushinf open the door and slipping inside.
The hospital was dimly lit, the only sound the creaking of old machinery and the distant crying of... something. I frowned, my sensen on high alert.
Min-ji clung to my arm, her eyes wide with fear. "W-what's that noise?" she whispered.
I shook my head. "I don't know, but let's find out."
I slowly moved forward, my eyes adjusting to the dark light. The hospital's interior was just as abandoned and eerie as the outside. I could see hospital beds, broken medical equipment, and scattered papers everywhere.
'I think it's been abandoned since the tower, monsters and portals appeared.'
As we walked, the crying noise grew louder. It sounded like a child, but it was hard to tell. I exchanged a cautious glance with Min-ji, who's still clinging to my arm.
We slowly moved forward, trying to locate the source of the crying noise.
As we turned a corner, we saw a door slightly open. The crying noise was coming from inside. I pushed the door open slowly.
And then, we saw it. A small child, no more than 5 years old, sitting on the floor, crying uncontrollably. But what caught my attention was the fact that the child was surrounded by... zombies.
"Uh... a child, it's possible that the child have been abandoned since I remember that that only 12 above can enter the tower." I murmured.
Min-ji's eyes widened in shock as she listened. "You mean... the child might have been left behind." she whispered.
I nodded. "It's possible. The tower's rules are pretty strict. Only people 12 and above can enter but that's much better than everyone in the world including babies enter the tower.

Min-ji's grip on my arm tightened. "We have to save the child," she said, her voice firm.
"If you're going to save the child, give them a name since we don't know their name… and I'm bad at making up names so you do it." I said.
Min-ji's eyes sparkled with determination. "I'll do it. I'll take care of the child and give them a name!"
I nodded, a small smile on my face. "Alright, let's do this. But first, we need to get rid of the zombies surrounding the child."
Min-ji's grip on my arm tightened. "I'll help you. We can do this together!"
The child, sensing our presence, looked up and started crying even harder.
Min-ji's eyes welled up with tears. "Oh, poor baby..."
'How old is Min-ji anyways?' I wondered.
I took a step forward, my eyes scanning the room for any potential threats. The zombies, sensing our presence, started to shuffle towards us.
It was time to fight.
