This is the 40,000th year of the Empire's dominance over the Galaxy. The glory of the Great Expedition has long been buried in the dust of history. Su Yu has transmigrated here, opening his eyes to the ruins of a planet in front of him, utterly bewildered.
On this planet, there are war machines that stretch for thousands of kilometers, now broken to the extreme, alien beasts whose roars can shatter mountains and rivers, and radiation alien beasts whose mere movement causes further destruction to the surrounding environment—
There is everything here, except hope.
Whether willingly or not, Su Yu struggled to survive for three years and finally inevitably contracted radiation sickness, seemingly about to become one of the despairing.
Until his Profession Panel, capable of infinite job transfers, finally activated.
"Ding!"
"Detected that the host has met the prerequisites; do you want to take the profession of [Mechanic]?"
"Completing this job will allow you to gain profession experience through daily maintenance, recovery, and assembly of mechanical creations, leveling up the profession, and with each upgrade, you receive an enhancement amplification of your physical attributes..."
Looking at the pile of broken gun parts in his repair room, an unprecedented light lit up in Su Yu's eyes!
Years later, at the core of the Empire, at the highest point of the Terra world, Su Yu, the Mechanic from Ruins Star, Ghost Shadow Blade of Dead Silence Wilderness, Initiator of the Giant God Soldier Project's Restart, Governor of the Shattered Star Region, Master of Mechanical Ascension, Supreme Throne of the Forging World, looked at the torrent of steel gathering below and commanded with a wave of his hand!
[Our goal is to make the (second) (crossed out) Empire great again!]
your standard system novel, Mc is reborn on a planet, long after the collapse of the interstellar empire. The current population survives by scavenging ruins. The universe is filled with cosmic radiation causing some to gain abilities. The story is your classic the local bigs shots want him to join them, and when he refuses they target his friends and family so he uses his job system to fight back against humans, aliens and the wild life who mutated due to cosmic radiation, with classes like gun master from the system and blueprints like night vision goggles.
Other than the hard track names, this book is one of the best books on this site!
I like this book. However, I wouldn't say I'm qualified to review it, so i hope someone qualified to review novels comes along. That's it for me. I hope everyone who reads this has a nice day.

I read this because I found the Idea cool. I love the focus placed robots, techs, machines. Its got even better when it hints a bit on kingdom buidling, so I had great expectations for the whats to come. BUT the story severely failed to meet expectations, and starts to lose what made it good in the first place. I read the mtl and managed to read 300+ chapters ahead. The story later on starts to focus on energies, faith, gods, etc. to the point that mechs, tech, robots and others starts becoming irrelevant. It basically becomes a cultication novel disguised as a scifi novel. Side characters starts to get forgotten. The actions and fight becomes boring since the enemy and cities just die in one shot. Strategies and intellect becomes irrelevant and almost none existent. Plus, the kingdom building I had in mind did not happen which is fine since its not the focus but still bad nonetheless. Overall great start, but becomes bad later on. Its okay to stop at when he defeats that team leader that controls people, since after that things I mention above starts to happen.
I love it. It feels like 40k grunt using his system to gradually get stronger. Give it a go it hasn’t dropped in quality from the free chapters yet in my opinion. It is just very fun to listen to.
Machine translations are a complete waste of time. Not worth it if the og author was making messy mistakes with the system math from the start and then on top of that the translation quality barely lasts through the free chapters…not worth your time let alone your money.
