Chapter 60: Pushing Limits

Ji-Ah barely had time to react before Evelyn grabbed her wrist, her grip light but firm. Ji-Ah shot her a look, but Evelyn, as usual, looked way too pleased with herself.

"I think I should test my new privileges right away," Evelyn said, her fingers tracing small circles on Ji-Ah's skin.

Ji-Ah narrowed her eyes. "You're enjoying this too much."

"Obviously." Evelyn smirked. "And you agreed. No restrictions, no complaints."

Ji-Ah crossed her arms. "Within reason."

Evelyn tilted her head. "Nope. That's not what you said."

Before Ji-Ah could argue, Evelyn leaned in, her breath warm against Ji-Ah's cheek. The car suddenly felt too small. Ji-Ah swallowed, trying to keep her cool.

Evelyn's lips barely brushed against her ear as she whispered, "If I kissed you right now, would you stop me?"

Ji-Ah clenched her jaw, refusing to answer.

Evelyn chuckled, her hand sliding down Ji-Ah's arm, fingers light but knowing. "No protests yet. Interesting."

Ji-Ah exhaled sharply. "You're so—"

"Charming? Irresistible?" Evelyn grinned.

"Annoying," Ji-Ah muttered.

Evelyn let out a dramatic sigh. "Well, too bad. You already said yes to my deal."

Ji-Ah opened her mouth to argue, but Evelyn was faster. She closed the distance, pressing a slow, teasing kiss against Ji-Ah's lips. It wasn't rushed, wasn't hesitant. Just confident. Like she knew Ji-Ah wouldn't push her away.

Evelyn's hand slid to Ji-Ah's waist, pulling her closer as she deepened the kiss. Ji-Ah stiffened for a second, but the way Evelyn touched her—slow and sure—made it impossible to keep up her walls. A soft sigh escaped her lips before she could stop it.

Evelyn pulled back just a little, her lips brushing against Ji-Ah's. "Still want to argue?"

Ji-Ah let out a slow breath, gripping the front of Evelyn's jacket.

Evelyn smiled, pressing a kiss to Ji-Ah's temple. "You think too much."

Ji-Ah groaned, dropping her head against Evelyn's shoulder. "I'm going to regret this, aren't I?"

Evelyn hummed in amusement. "Probably. But it'll be fun."

Ji-Ah had no doubt about that. And that was exactly the problem.
