Chapter 71: A Long Day, But Not Over Yet

Evelyn and Ji-Ah spent the whole day exploring the capital city of Switzerland. From wandering through historical streets to enjoying the stunning lakeside views, Evelyn made sure they didn't miss a thing. Ji-Ah had to admit—it was nice. They tried local delicacies, took countless pictures together, and even went on an impromptu shopping spree when Evelyn insisted Ji-Ah needed a "vacation wardrobe."

By the time they finished their fancy dinner at a cozy restaurant, Ji-Ah could barely keep her eyes open.

"Alright, let's go back," she mumbled, stretching as they walked toward their hotel.

Evelyn smirked. "Tired already?"

Ji-Ah shot her a look. "We've been walking all day. What do you expect?"

Evelyn chuckled but didn't argue.

The moment they stepped into their hotel room, Ji-Ah kicked off her shoes and flopped onto the bed. "I need a shower," she muttered, her voice muffled against the pillow.

Evelyn sat beside her, watching with amusement. "Go ahead."

Ji-Ah didn't move.

Evelyn smirked. "Or… I could help wake you up."

Ji-Ah groaned. "Don't start."

But Evelyn had other plans. She leaned closer, pressing a kiss against Ji-Ah's shoulder before trailing up to her neck.

Ji-Ah tensed. "Evelyn."

"Mmh?" Evelyn hummed, her hands slowly slipping under Ji-Ah's shirt.

Ji-Ah grabbed her wrists. "We're tired."

Evelyn tilted her head. "I'm not."

Ji-Ah sighed. "Well, I am. And I need to shower."

Evelyn pouted. "Shower later."

Ji-Ah narrowed her eyes. "Shower now."

Evelyn didn't budge. Instead, she leaned in again, pressing soft kisses along Ji-Ah's jaw, her hands teasing their way higher.

Ji-Ah inhaled sharply before pushing her away. "Evelyn, stop."

Evelyn blinked at her, surprised. Ji-Ah rarely ever used that serious tone.

Ji-Ah sat up, running a hand through her hair. "I said I'm tired. I just want to sleep."

Evelyn studied her for a moment before sighing. "Fine, fine. Go shower."

Ji-Ah stood up quickly, grabbing her clothes. "Good."

Evelyn smirked as she lay back on the bed. "But don't take too long. I'll be waiting~."

Ji-Ah rolled her eyes and walked into the bathroom, shutting the door behind her.

Evelyn chuckled to herself. Even if Ji-Ah had won this round… the night wasn't over yet.
