SkyNani Ep3

---

Sky tried to mask his jealousy, keeping his expression neutral as they went through the motions of checking out of their hotel room.

Nani, on the other hand, was pretending not to notice Sky's lingering foul mood. They exchanged a few words with P'Som, their manager, before finally heading to the parking lot.

As usual, Sky would drop Nani off at his condo before heading home.

The tension that had settled between them earlier seemed to ease once they got into the car.

Maybe it was the conversation with P'Som that lightened Sky's mood, or maybe it was just the comfort of being alone together again, but by the time they were halfway through the drive, laughter had replaced the awkward silence.

They reminisced about FanCon-the inside jokes, the unexpected moments, and the overwhelming love from their fans.

By the time they reached Nani's condo,

Sky slowed to a stop, his hands still gripping the wheel, but his expression had changed. He was giving Nani his sad puppy look.

Nani knew this look all too well.

"Do you want to come up with me?" he asked casually.

"We can play games before you head home."

Sky's face instantly brightened, a wide grin spreading across his lips he was happy Nani still wanted him around.

"Are you missing me already?" he teased, his tone playful.

Nani rolled his eyes. "Are you coming or not?" he asked, already reaching for the door handle.

Sky hesitated for a second before sighing. "I really want to stay with you, but I can't. My family's at my place, and I need to see them before they leave." His lips curved into a small pout.

A thought struck him, and he perked up. "How about you come with me instead?" he suggested.

But Nani immediately shook his head. "No, Sky, I can't."

Sky frowned. "Why not?"

Nani turned to him with an amused smile. "What if your family wants to talk privately with you? Me being there would make that difficult. We'll see each other tomorrow, okay?"

And before Sky could try to convince him otherwise, Nani was already stepping out of the car, effectively ending the conversation.

Sky watched as he walked into the building, Even though he had just spent the past few days with Nani, it still didn't feel like enough.

Nani was lounging on his couch, lazily scrolling through his phone when the doorbell rang. He already knew who it was.

Mark Pakin.

Earlier, when Nani had called to ask him something, Mark had told him he was busy but would stop by later.

Now that he was here, Mark wasted no time making himself at home. As soon as he stepped inside, he headed straight for the fridge, grabbing a cold can of beer before flopping down on the couch beside Nani.

"So, what did you want to ask me before?" Mark asked, taking a sip.

Nani hesitated for a second before speaking.

"You've been acting for a long time now, right?"

Mark raised a brow. "Yeah... and?"

"Have you ever felt something for your co-star?" Nani asked, his tone unusually serious.

Mark looked at him, puzzled. "No."

Nani sat up straighter. "Seriously? You've never? Unlike me, you've kissed intensely, done sexual scenes too, and you feel nothing at all for them?" he asked in awe.

Mark shook his head. "Nope. Never had feelings for anyone I've acted with."

A teasing smirk appeared on his face as he leaned back. "So... who is it? Sky or Dew?" he asked casually.

"Oui, Mark!" Nani groaned in protest.

Mark chuckled. "Come on, no need to deny it. I knew about your feelings for Dew during the F4 era. You didn't exactly do a great job hiding it."

Nani's eyes widened. "Wait... seriously? So everyone knows?" he asked, suddenly feeling embarrassed.

Mark shrugged. "Only a few people close to you. I know Win and Ohm picked up on it too. But since you never said anything, nobody brought it up."

Nani groaned, sinking into the couch and covering his face with his hands.

"Shia... I feel so embarrassed. Is there something wrong with me?"

Mark burst into laughter.

"It's normal to fall in love, Nani. Don't overthink it."

He paused before asking, "But why didn't you ever tell Dew how you felt? Where you worried you would ruin your friendship?"

Nani sighed."I tried."

"But every time I brought up the conversation, he always avoided it. I took that as a sign that he wasn't even interested in hearing about my feelings. Like you said, maybe he didn't want to be put in a position where he had to reject me and risk ruining our friendship. It would be awkward to keep meeting someone you turned down. That's why I decided to move on."

Mark nodded, understanding. Then, he smirked again. "Oh? And what about Sky? It looks like you like him too."

Nani let out a small chuckle. "It does look that way, doesn't it?"

Mark shot him a knowing look. "Why are you asking me like they're my feelings?" he laughed.

Nani exhaled deeply.

"Because I'm confused. When I'm with Sky, I feel happy. Relaxed. I can be myself with him. He never makes me feel like I have to put on an act. And when I'm not with him... I think about him a lot."

Mark nodded. "Okay. So, you obviously like him. What's the problem?"

Nani hesitated before speaking again.

"This morning, when we were still at the hotel, Dew came over. And at some point, he said something about me being just his phi'. It kinda hurt. And now I'm questioning myself. Do I still like him? I thought I had moved on. But if I have, why did his words sting so much? I don't know what to do."

He ran a frustrated hand through his hair.

"And then there's Sky..." he continued. "I know how he feels about me. But I pretend like I don't. I'm doing exactly what Dew did to me-acting like I don't see it, like it's not there. And I hated Dew for that back then. But now I'm doing the same thing.

What the hell is wrong with me?"

Nani felt upset with himself.

The truth was, despite what Sky thought, Nani remembered everything.

Every drunken mistake. Every flirtatious moment. Every time he had almost kissed Sky.

He remembered it all.

Every time he provoked a reaction from Sky on purpose, just to see how far he could push him.

Every little game he played, just to feel something-to figure out his own feelings.

And Sky's words last night?

That was still fresh in his memory.
