"When is this going to start though?" Blaine asked.
"It shouldn't take more than twenty minutes for the Entrance Ceremony to begin. Just have to wait for the students to come in and take their seats." Valerie responded in her naturally gentle voice.
"Ah, yeah. I guess we just have to wait until then, huh?" Blaine put his hand on his chin, looking at the stage, and responded back.
*some time later*
Time passed and the auditorium was filled with students and instructors alike. The instructors were standing in front of the stage, in the corners and at the back of the auditorium. Every instructor was wearing different kinds of clothes. Some were wearing fancy outfits while others were wearing clocks and hats which would match how a sorcerer would dress like.
A man appeared from behind the stage and stood at the center where a lectern was placed. He leaned over and picked up a microphone. It was much like a podium microphone but with no wires. He looked familiar. Blaine thought he had seen this man. And not just a few time, he had seen him a lot. The man moved the microphone closer to his face and said "Hello students. As some of you already know and some may not, I am the Headmaster of The Academy of Magic, Albus Circe Steins. And it is my pleasure to have you all here."
"What?! He's the Headmaster of the academy?!" Blaine was shocked and thought internally.
Blaine looked at Janika. His eyes widened in shock.
"…? He didn't tell you?" Janika had a calm expression.
"You knew about this?! Why didn't you tell me?!" Blaine asked her quietly.
"I thought he already told you." Janika replied back.
"This is the first time I'm finding out about this!" He whispered to her.
"It's your fault for not asking." She whispered.
"Wha…? How is it my fault for not asking about something I don't know about!"
"Ahh, whatever. Just forget about it." He whispered back to her.
"Is something the matter?" Valerie leaned over to Blaine and asked.
"Oh, ah, no, it's nothing." He looked over at Valerie and responded.
"I get it. You didn't expect to see Headmaster Albus here, huh?" She softly chuckled.
"Yeah… haha."
"It is a joy for me to see such promising individuals. As you may already know, you have been divided into Class A to F. Those who had the most amount of mastery of their magic power were placed in Class 1-A and B, and those who had less were placed in Classes below. But fret not, because you too can be in the top class if you perform the best in the competition which will qualify you to move to a higher grade. And that goes for those who are currently in Class 1-A, if you perform poorly you will be removed from your class and be demoted below Class A.
You will have plenty of opportunities to improve so I encourage you to do your best and set your sights high because you were talented enough to be able to attend The Academy of Magic. And when I say magic, it doesn't mean you will only have magic classes. There will be others as well, such as History, Mathematics, Swordsmanship, Alchemy, and so on. Don't slack off in any of your classes because it will only effect you and your grades negatively.
All your classes will start tomorrow. So for today, I want you to get to know each other and make friends with one another while attending the Banquet. Before the banquet starts, go to your dormitory, find your dorm rooms, and see who your roommate is. The dormitory for both boys and girls is separated for their own privacy. Your schedule will be waiting for you at the counter in your dormitory which is managed by the dormitory staff, and you can ask that same person for your room number.
With all that said, I whis you good luck with your new life at The Academy of Magic."
Albus gave a speech with a commanding but gentle voice. And he walked off the stage.
All the students stood up and left the auditorium. Some were with others they got acquainted to, and some did not.
