After Albus finished his speech and walked off the stage. All the students stood up and left the auditorium. Some were with others they got acquainted to, and some did not.
They were like lone wolves, separating themselves from others. However, every lone wolf did not choose to be left lone.
As everyone was leaving the auditorium, Blaine's gaze was shifted towards a person standing in the middle of the crowd. That was also a student wearing the uniform with pants. Blaine glanced over and saw that person's back, he couldn't see their face in all that crowd. That person had a slender body, with an average height, and short blonde hair.
Before Blaine could take a better look, that person mixed in with the crowd and disappeared.
Blaine ignored it and kept on walking until he left the auditorium and reached the dormitory.
*Few minutes later*
Blaine reached the dormitory and it looked as amazing as the academy itself. All the male students were entering it and going to their rooms. For some reason every student in the dormitory was avoiding Blaine. They were all murmuring, and it sounded too quiet for him to hear.
He went to the reception-counter and asked the receptionist for his room number and his school schedule.
"Hey, do you know what my room number is?" He asked.
"Your name please?" The receptionist added his own question. He was a man who looked to be about thirty years old with average looks and height, and had light-brown hair.
"Blaine Circe Steins." He responded.
"Oh, yes, Mr. Steins! It's room no.111, it's on the second floor. And here is your schedule, in here you can see what classes you will be taking. Best of luck to you Mr. Steins!" He flinched after hearing Blaine's name and responded in a quick and polite manner.
"Thank you" Blaine politely thanked him.
"No problem at all." He kindly responded to his thanks.
After thanking him Blaine left the reception-counter and went straight to the second floor. As he was walking up the stairs, he noticed how incredibly large the dormitory was. The dormitory building had five floors in total, excluding the ground floor
As he walked up the stairs he suddenly bumped into someone. It was a boy a few inches taller than him. He was a dark-skinned young man with slightly long black hair and green eyes with an athletic built much like Blaine, and was a few inches taller.
"Hey, watch where you're going!" He slightly raised his voice, but not enough to make a commotion.
"I'm sorry! That was totally my fault. I was looking around at the dormitory and wasn't paying attention in the front." He politely apologized.
"Oh, that's… okay." He lowered his voice and responded.
"Are you a First year?" He asked.
"Yeah. Are you too?" Blaine answered him and asked.
"Yeah!"
"What class?" He asked again.
"Class 1-A." Blaine responded.
"We're in the same class! That means we're classmates!" He enthusiastically responded back.
"Oh, the name's Greyson, by the way. But you can call me Grey!" He chuckled.
"I'm Blaine."
"Whoa! So you're Blaine?! I've heard so much about you!"
"About me?"
"Yeah. Like in those rumors."
"What kind of rumors?"
"You know how they are. Some rumors are good and some are bad."
"But, don't worry about it. I don't believe such baseless rumors. In fact, I hate those people who spread false information in the first place!"
"Yeah, I know. I've been getting these stares since I got here."
"This is the start of our new lives, so just forget about them!" Grey gave him a confident smile.
"You're right. We came here to create our own future, and not be effected by rumors!" Blaine confidently stated.
"Yeah! That's more like it!"
He smiled and they shook their hands as if they had already become the best of friends.
"So, are you having trouble finding your room too?" Grey asked.
"Did you not find yours as well?" Blaine added his own question.
"No. I did. I was checking if you needed any help finding it." Grey offered his help.
"Sure" Blaine accepted the help.
"Can you tell me which room number it is?" Grey asked.
"Room no. 111" Blaine replied.
"Hey, what a coincidence, that's the room next to mine!" He replied back with a light laugh.
"Come on, it's this way. I'll show you."
Grey led him to a room which had written '111' on it.
"You can go and set your things up.
You're going to the banquet, right? Should I wait outside or…" Grey asked.
"No. You can go. I'll catch up with you at the banquet." Blaine responded.
"Okay" Grey said and left.
Blaine opened the door and walked in the room.
"Hmm? Is someone already here? Is it my roommate?" He thought internally.
He closed the door and started to look if his roommate was already there. In the bathroom area, he saw someone.
"I think I saw this person at the Entrance Ceremony, but, I couldn't get a better look of what they looked like." He thought to himself, remembering the blonde-haired person.
"Ah, excuse me." Blaine cleared his throat and slowly walked towards that person.
"Are you my roommate?" He questioned.
That person was hunched over the sink and got surprised when they suddenly heard Blaine's voice.
"Huh? Ah, um, uh!" They panicked after suddenly hearing his voice.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Ah… yes… sorry about that, I get nervous easily when I talk to people." They walked out the bathroom area and approached Blaine.
"There's no need to worry. I know what you mean—
As he saw that person coming closer to him, he was shocked.
"Wait! A girl?! Why are you here?! This is the boy's dormitory! Did you get the place mixed up somehow?!" He questioned upon seeing that person.
"I… I'm not!" They shouted. However, the voice was loud enough to only be heard in the room.
"You're not what?" He asked in confusion.
"I'm not a girl!" He shouted again. Frustrated. His eyes filled with tears.
"Oh… I… I'm so sorry that I mistook you for a girl! You have a feminine face and voice so I thought that a girl had mistakenly came here. This is the men's dormitory so a girl wouldn't have any business here anyway. I'm such an idiot! Please forgive my rudeness!" He clapped his hands together and bowed, and apologized for his mistake.
"No, it's… it's okay.
With my looks, voice and my short height you couldn't have known that…
And… I'm sorry too for yelling at you…" He apologized as well and responded back to him.
"No, no. You shouldn't apologize, it was entirely my fault!" Blaine blamed himself for making a mistake.
"No, it wasn't entirely your fault—
He looked at Blaine, they starred at eachother and chuckled.
"Hahaha… so I guess we're roommates, huh?" Blaine chuckled and asked.
"Yeah, I guess we are." He chuckled back and responded.
