The Golden Boy Chapter 4

David was sitting watching television while having breakfast

The first thing he would do if they end up accepting his script is to work on a few projects with Warner Bros. after that and then he would start his own production company.

He had several projects in mind, there were many genres that he liked: comedy, action and especially horror films.

They did not always have a strong impact at the box office and sometimes they did not make it to the Oscars.

Before continuing with his breakfast the phone rang

He would get up hurriedly to answer

"Hello, good morning, this is David Weber. Who am I speaking to?"

"Hello David, I'm Terry Semel. You had given me a script to read, not only was I impressed, but so was Martin Scorsese."

"Are you there, David?"

He would be impressed, he didn't expect to be called

"Yes, Mr. Terry, I can't get over my shock, that's all"

"From your tone of voice it seems that you are quite happy, I would like to meet you in my office if you can"

"Yes, Mr. Terry, I'm going to your office right now"

"Thank you, David, I'll wait for you"

The conversation ended immediately, and David would quickly go up the stairs to change his clothes and meet Terry.
