A Tense Hide-and-Seek Game!

"Come on, Little Rat! Come here! Let's play with me!" The intimate tone of Vahd Diran's voice made Ursa shudder instantly. "I really admire you, you know? So bold, so daring. Putting a phone in my boss's briefcase with it connected to yours, thinking that we wouldn't find that out. Oh… So naïve!"

Ursa held his breath as he let himself be covered by a short wall from the building nearby, trying his best to lower his presence and blend himself into the darkness of the alley. When he heard what Vahd Diran said, Ursa grimaced unconsciously, knowing how stupid his method was before. Well… He knew it was crude and stupid, but he just didn't expect Vahd Diran and Golak Mayar would set up a fake conversation about a mysterious ledger to lure him out, and just like a fool he was, he got caught by their little trap.

"Come on, Little Rat! No need to be shy! Let's play a little game!" The man called him out once again. "I know you are here, so I just want to ask, who sends you to our door? Is it Lawyer Hasan? No that shouldn't be. He is way too smart to make such a lowly mistake like that. Mister Alex from the Green Eagle Party? His men are a bit clumsy, but he doesn't have any hatred for my boss. Who is it… Who is it…" His tone was playful, completely opposite of the scary demeanor he carried right now.

Ursa himself just stood on his spot silently, not daring to even breathe so loudly as usual. He knew Vahd Diran was trying to draw a reaction from him, so if he got baited once again, it would be over.

"Oh, well… It doesn't matter. You are trapped here with me right now. If you want to have a patience fight, I can do this all day. But once I have you in my hand…"

CRACK!

Ursa gulped nervously at the not-so-subtle threat coming from Vahd Diran when the man suddenly broke an abandoned chair nearby just with one hand. The sheer power he possessed was a monster, and honestly, the only thing Ursa wanted to do right now was to run as far away from this alley as possible.

Unfortunately, as his nervousness took over, just when he took a small step to run away, he heard the unmistakable crunch of a dry leaf beneath his foot, and he knew instantly he fucked up as the man snapped his head in his direction instantly.

"Gotcha!"

"Oh, fuck!"

With that as his last words, Ursa didn't even think twice before he dashed off, trying to run as quickly as possible. When he saw a pretty big trash can on the sideway, he shoved it back immediately, hoping that it could slow the man down. However, the man showed why he was a beast in martial arts by leaping acrobatically to avoid it.

"Come on! I can do this all day, you know?!" The man shouted.

Ursa just ignored the taunt, running as quickly as possible to get into the crowd. He knew that the man was on a completely different level compared to him. The man was a martial artist with a lot of experience and had a good physicality, and he was just an ordinary boy who had just graduated from high school a few weeks ago. However, if there was one thing he could take advantage of, it was the fact that the man was a public figure and had to maintain his reputation, so trying to escape into the crowd would be his option right now.

"Shit! He gets away!" The man cursed as he lost track of Ursa in the intersection. Then, he pulled out his phone, making a short call, shouting, "I don't care what you are doing right now, you Lazy Bum! I want you to check all the surveillance cameras at Harrison Street for the last five minutes and find a teenager 177 cm with a grey jacket, panting heavily from adrenaline! I want the information in three minutes, understand?!"

Ursa's heart felt like a drum, pounding fiercely as he heard that. Yeah, instead of running away, the moment he reached the crowded marketplace, he put on the hood on his windbreaker back to cover his head and paused, trying to steady his breath. This trick worked perfectly as not only did he feel his presence start to disappear once again, but he was also still close to Vahd Diran, allowing him to know what the man was up to. He took advantage of his full-level stealth to disappear from everyone's sight and made them think that he had escaped already.

However, when he heard the man had allies who could hack the surveillance cameras, he knew he had to get away from his spot as quickly as possible. After all, even with the full-level stealth he possessed, it would be no use if people really paid attention to him, and that could be done also by looking at the camera. That was why being here would be too dangerous for him.

Unfortunately, it seemed Vahd Diran still had another resource to use as he pulled his phone again and shouted, "A teenager around 175 cm with the grey jacket! Don't let him escape from this street!"

"Yes, Sir!"

Now, the real hide-and-seek game finally started.

Ursa walked briskly through the crowd, desperately hoping no one noticed him. He still didn't know how many men Vahd Diran asked to handle this situation, so he didn't dare to do something excessive that could alarm his enemies.

As he ducked behind a stall filled with colorful scarves, Ursa peeked out from his spot and could see Vahd Diran and two goons who he thought were the man's men spreading through the marketplace, talking to shopkeepers and searching for him.

Ursa took a deep breath, trying to concentrate on finding an opening so that he could escape from this place. He could feel sweat start rolling down through the shirt beneath his jacket as nervousness attacked him once again, frustrated that he felt his head stuck without any solution.

However, as he was about to lose hope, the earphone connected to the phone he put on Golak Mayar's briefcase suddenly buzzed, and before Ursa knew what happened, a young voice greeted him out of nowhere. "Yo, Vega! I see you need to get out of a needle hole. Want a hand?"
