Fragments of his clavicle and scapula pierced through his skin from the inside, and the entirety of his shoulder joint disintegrated under the hammer's power. Blood splattered across the stone floor in a wide arc, painting colorful patterns that seemed to wriggle in the torchlight.
His legs trembled as they withstood the brunt of the attack. His tendons and muscles straining to the extreme to keep him from being completely flattened by the immense strength.
"Crack!"
The stone beneath his feet cracked further from the pressure as his feet imprinted deeply in it.

"Beg, mercy, Human!" the king suddenly said in a condescending tone, its voice rumbling through the chamber like distant thunder.
Yellow teeth gleamed in a mouth that seemed to grin with malice. The king clearly believed the battle was already decided, seeing Lucian's shattered form as proof of its superiority.
However, Lucian suddenly twisted his body, surprising the king with his sudden moment, despite the grievous injury. He let the hammer fall off his shattered bones, the weapon's momentum carrying it past him. In that split second of opportunity, he immediately swung his spear with his right hand.
"Nine Revolving Dragon Spear, First Move: Dragon's Roar!"
The Dragon Soul Devourer responded. 65%+30% = 95% increase in attack power!
The runes along the blade flared with crimson light so intense it appeared to bleed into the surrounding air.
"ROOOAR!"
A literal dragon's roar echoed across the entire village, so powerful that the birds panicked in fear. The sound was primal and ancient, awakening instinctive terror in all who heard it.
The spear thrust forward, trailing crimson energy that coalesced into the shape of a dragon's head, jaws wide open to devour its prey.
"BANG!!"
The strike blasted through the king's chest, penetrating the golden scales that had seemed impervious just moments before.
The spear entered just below the chest and erupted from the back in a spray of dark green blood that steamed when it hit the cold stone floor.
"ROOOOOAR!!!"
The Lizardmen King howled in pain, a sound so filled with rage and agony that it caused the very foundations of the structure to tremble.
It was sent flying backwards. However its clawed feet dug right into the ground as he slide backwards a few tens of meters, creating two deep trenches in the stone ground, refusing to fall.
But the wound, which should have been fatal, suddenly began to close before Lucian's eyes.
It seemed the king possessed regenerative abilities of its own. Green blood congealed around the hole in its chest, the torn flesh visibly knitting back together.
Scales regrew over the damaged area, forming a patchwork of new golden armor that spread outward like metal sheets.
The process was incredibly slower than Lucian's, but very impressive.
Lucian's face turned slightly grim. He hadn't heard about anyone say the First Floor Boss had this sort of ability from his time in school. Not even the Instructor said something similar to this.
But then his lips curled into a crazed grin.
"If that's the case, let's see who has the faster regeneration ability."
At that moment, the last fragments of bone in his shattered shoulder merged seamlessly together.
His muscles weaved themselves together like worms as his skin closed up and fully healed without a single scar.
The entire process had taken just about 2 seconds.
The king was instantly stunned, its reptilian eyes widening as it processed what it had just witnessed. The hammer in its grip wavered momentarily as uncertainty crept onto its face.
Now it knew where Lucian's confidence was coming from.
"Die!"
With a roar, Lucian flashed forward in a crimson blur and attacked with crazed intent.
The battle escalated to a new level of intensity.
"Human!!!"
The king met his charge with a thunderous roar, swinging its massive war hammer with massive force that displaced the very air around it.
"BOOOM!"
The two warriors collided at the center of the throne room, creating a shockwave that caused dust to rain from the ceiling.
Sparks so bright they lit up shadows within the hall appeared quite frequently it seemed like thunder rumbling.
They exchanged blows at incredible speed, each strike powerful enough to shatter stone.
The Dragon Soul Devourer slammed against the king's hammer, as Lucian redirected the force rapidly to with attack twice the force, finding openings in the massive creature's defense to inflict injuries.
Each time the spear connected, it devoured a fraction of the king's life force, storing it within its crimson blade.
In return, the hammer found its mark against Lucian's body repeatedly, each impact either shattering his bones or disintegrating his flesh. However, they all healed in the blink of an eye.
Blood, both green and red, spattered the ground in colorful patterns as wounds opened and closed in seconds.
The floor beneath them became filled with potholes and craters.

With each devastating injury, Lucian felt his body growing stronger, adapting to the immense force of the king's attacks. His muscles became denser, his reflexes sharper, his defenses growing stronger.
The pain was excruciating, but what was pain in the face of power? His SSS-rank regeneration wasn't just healing him; it was improving him with attack!
The king suddenly started to notice Lucian's strength increasing and his speed catching up to it; its eyes narrowed.
Suddenly, its hammer drew a blur as it attacked from an unconventional angle.
However, as Lucian was happily focused on the battle, he immediately reacted to block.
But it was simply a feint. As Lucian blocked with his spear.
"Ding!"
Then he prepared to lash out a counterattack, the long tail of the king suddenly whipped at Lucian's leg, catching him off-guard as he was swept off his feet, literally.
In midair, the king suddenly roared as it used its skill.
"King's Judgement!"
"Rumble!!!"
The hammer crackled in midair as blue lightning wrapped around it in an astonishing manner.
As though it was Thor's hammer, he slammed it against Lucian, who was still in midair.
Lucian's face widened, and he didn't hesitate as he also launched the third move of his Nine Revolving Dragon Spear technique.
The air crackled as thousands of spear shadows appeared in the sky, merging into one as they collided with the hammer surrounded by lightning.
"KA-BOOOM!"
