Trying to Think of a Plan (And Failing)
Alright. How the hell do I stop a future villain from going full demon mode?
I sat on the bench, arms crossed, thinking.
✔ I could give her a dramatic speech about not falling into darkness. (No. That's stupid.)
✔ I could try to manipulate events to keep her away from Seria and Julius. (Too much effort.)
✔ I could just leave and pretend I never saw anything. (Tempting, but my system would probably f*ck me over.)
I groaned, running a hand through my hair.
"Ugh. This is annoying."
Then, I remembered something from the game's lore.
✔ The princess never cared about status, power, or noble etiquette.
✔ She only ever wanted someone to treat her like a normal person.
✔ The guy she fell for? He was the only one who spoke to her like she was just… her.
I sat up straight.
"Wait. That's it."
---
The Plan: Just Be That Guy
No complicated schemes.
No pretending to be some genius mastermind.
Just… act like a normal f*cking person around her.
Would it work?
No clue.
But I was too lazy to come up with a better idea.
So I stood up, stretched, and said—
"F*ck it."
Then I walked straight toward her.
---
Approaching the Future Villain Like an Absolute Dumbass
She was still standing under the tree, watching Julius and Seria from a distance.
Her expression? Flawless. Unreadable.
I stopped a few steps away and casually said—
"Yo."
She turned, golden eyes narrowing slightly. "…Excuse me?"
I smirked. "What, do nobles not say 'yo' or something?"
Her lips twitched.
Like she wasn't sure whether to be annoyed or amused.
"No. They don't."
"Well, now one does."
I plopped down on the bench beside her, stretching my arms.
---
Step One: Be Annoyingly Friendly
She stared at me like I had lost my mind.
Which was fair.
Because, from her perspective—
✔ I was a noble she had never spoken to before.
✔ I just walked up and started acting like we were old friends.
✔ I had no reason to be here.
And yet, here I was.
I grinned at her. "Sooo. You eaten yet?"
She blinked. "What?"
"Lunch. Food. You know, that thing people eat so they don't die?"
Her eyes narrowed. "Are you asking me to eat with you?"
I shrugged. "Yeah. Why not?"
She looked at me like I had just spoken another language. "I don't eat with others."
"Well, today's a first, then."
---
Step Two: Act Like It's Normal
She hesitated.
For just a second.
Like she was considering it.
But then she sighed, returning to her usual composed expression. "You don't even know me."
"Sure I do." I leaned back. "You're the super serious princess that everyone's scared of."
Her lips pressed into a thin line. "So you're aware."
I nodded. "Yup. And I don't care."
She froze.
Like she didn't know how to respond to that.
Because no one had ever said that to her before.
---
Step Three: Make Her Forget the Bullsh*t for a Moment
I stood up, stretching. "C'mon. Let's go eat. Food tastes better when you have company, y'know?"
She stared at me.
Then, very softly, she muttered—
"That's… ridiculous."
But she followed me anyway.
And for the first time, as we walked away—
She wasn't looking at Seria and Julius anymore.
---
Final Thought – Maybe This Won't Be So Hard After All
✔ She wasn't suddenly saved.
✔ She wasn't suddenly trusting me.
✔ But she wasn't dwelling on her future villain arc either.
And honestly?
That was good enough for now.
The sword hummed in my mind. "So, uh… did you just accidentally start flirting with her?"
I almost tripped. "The f*ck?! No!"
"Uh-huh. Sure, buddy."
I sighed, rubbing my temples.
This is gonna be a pain in the a.**
